This Mansfield Toilet Tank Trip Lever is indeed an OEM part from Mansfield Plumbing with model no. 41CH-P which actually has been discontinued. My Mansfield Toilet Tank is manufactured in 1981 and it has blue trip lever like the picture #2 and #3 showed. The handle has "Mansfield' wording on it. I had bought 4 OEM white Mansfield Trip Lever & Handles model no. 41 from Home Depot many years ago and it fits perfectly. Now I've used up my stock and need to get more trip levers since it keeps broken, I can't find the OEM model 41 white trip lever from Home Depot and Lowe's anymore. Home Depot has a blue one made by Danco from China, and Lowe's also has a blue one made by Keeney from Taiwan. I tried both and found both has lesser angle on the handle to the lever comparing to the original. The Lowe's one barely can be used with the handle upward really close the edge of the tank lid at the rest position, but the Home Depot one is out of question with the handle upward at the rest position touching the lid.I then found this Mansfield Toilet Tank Trip Lever model no. 41CH-P on Amazon and decided to give it a try as the product package pictured looks exactly the same as my previous white trip lever model no. 41. But when I received the item, the package looks totally different as pictured (see picture #1 to the right). The curvature of the trip lever arm is a bit different from my original blue or OEM white model no. 41, and the handle base has additional reinforced plastic which makes it a bit bigger than the square hole on the tank, but it does fit when I forced in although it isn't perfect. Most importantly, the functionality is fine, and the handle now sits level away from the edge of the tank lid (picture #4 and #5).

I used this with a Mansfield 208/209 flush valve and it was a perfect fit. No bending or any other adjustments needed.

It don't fit on all the Mansfield tank! The one I have it don't fit!!!

As received, the curvature of the flush lever arm (Model 41 chrome trip lever) for my Mansfield toilet tank was not even a close fit. I had to use my heat gun to soften the plastic in order to bend the arm to make it fit. I ended up repairing the flush lever I bought about a year ago from a big box store with some super glue and I threw away the newly purchased lever. Since I had to destroy the blister pack the item came in in order to open it, the new flush lever was not returnable.

This part was not an exact duplicate of the original part. I thought that if I bought it from Mansfield it would be. It can be made to work, however.

The instructions say that you can bend the plastic piece to fit inside the tank, well, it broke when I tried bending it. The company won't respond to emails either.
