It lasted for a couple of weeks then just stopped A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY VERY DISAPPOINTED I HAD USED IT FOR REWINDING VHS TAPES ONLY OCCASIONALLY I THREW IT OUT

I had Many VHS tapes from my VCR that had to be rewound my VCR was unable to do that so I ordered the rewinder that work great thank you.

It should have been listed as WELL USED or ALMOST USED UP. Doesn't always rewind tapes, lid frequently must be held down to start the process, and frequently does not stop once a tape is re-wound.

works great, except rewound my home movies too tight. Now they won't play.

Works great! I had one before but, with all the moving from state to state I left it somewhere. It's a must have if you still have/use VHS tapes.

This rewinder has proven to be fast and flawless. Every movie I have rewound with it has been back in its case, ready for the next use, in a couple of minutes. It is also less noisy than the one I used before. I could not be more pleased.

I ordered 2 of these and both of them will rewind a tape and, thus, save wear and tear on your VCR. However, the item is supposed to "open" when rewinding is complete, but neither one did. So, I need to stay near and open the item manually to prevent burning the motor or breaking the tape. This is a minor inconvenience, but I thought it should be noted.

i ordered this for my mom to replace one of another brand that had broken (she had that one for several years). since she could not find it in any stores i came to her rescue and told her i could order one off amazon where you can find everything that i can't find elsewhere. right from the beginning it didn't work well, was very labored , also loud, sometimes it was not too bad. she figured she would keep it b/c it would have probably cost almost as much in shipping than to just replace it, plus just the hassle of returning something. last week it completely broke. i am ordering her another one(diifferent brand) hopefully she will have better luck...i would like to say that this is no reflection on amazon, which i love and have always had good luck with. just a lousy product i guess, i am glad that it wasn't more expensive or i would have tried to get her money back......
