I guess I'm getting lazy, but I find grabbing one of these is much easier than tying my own.The abrasion resistant cover is well made.I'm not sure what rope is used but it's not quite as supple and nice as the Amsteel I usually work with. Not knowing the actual rope used I wouldn't take this up any where close to the implied WLL of 22,000 lbs.But I don't expect to exceed 10,000lbs, so I'm pretty comfortable with this.

Novel idea. Haven't used this yet but i like the fact that i don't need to mess with shackles. The ball/loop connection point has mild concern about how well it will work.

Prior to getting this I was using a REALLY LONG strap to make an overhead attachment point for my block and tackle to raise and lower my sliding fifth wheel hitch from the bed of my truck. This soft shackle is absolutely perfect for the job. It fits through the gap in the beams and is more than long enough, but not too long, for the job. They also include a storage bag so I can keep it clean and out of the way until I need it.

1: In Action: UHMWPE shackle, stronger than steel. We use a lot of this synthetic fiber and prefer it to steel in almost any application. One: it does not rust. Two: lightweight. Three: easy to clean.2: Why do we want it? Truck rigging. Prep.3: Unboxing: Comes in a big.4: Instructions: Use it.Pros: Good value.

I have wanted a longer soft shackle for a long time now. It is pliable and easy to use. The bright Orange is also good, easier to see. Great addition to my off road recovery tools.

Super strong nylon cord! This is an item you need to keep in your side by side at all times, it is small and compact so it is easy to store. The only drawback is I wish it was a little longer.

These Jeeps/Suv's/pickups and RV's, are getting HEAVY. Sometimes I look at one stuck in the sand/mud and one glance tells me the a std 3/8 inch shackle isn't going to 'get er DONE' so, when u need some stronger gear. This is IT!!! Don't know the 'working load limit' for this strap but with a BREAKING Strength of 66,000 lbs, normally accepted std ratios, indicate it should be good to go for pulling a 10 ton RV, if not a bit more; AND, it is - I tried it! So, your attention has to turn to the strength of the other gear you plan to use. Be darned sure to TAKE YOUR TIME, think your plan of 'pull' thru, and examine/confirm the limits of EVERY link in your 'chain' of equipment, BEFORE you start! E.G. a LOT of winch cables can't even handle a third of this shackle's ability). DON'T BE THAT GUY!!! that makes a stupid mistake and gets someone hurt/maimed.
