Still a great case, KKSB makes excellent cases

The case itself is a pretty standard metal case. I generally like these as they do quite a bit to help with heat-mitigation under significant computational loads. Beyond that, it's a standard no-frills RpI case.I have two concerns about this case however:1) I think it's marketed somewhat deceptively. The original item description might lead one to think the nvme hat was included. It's not. They seem to have fixed this but the title remains as-is. The case does NOT come with the Hat.2) My unit shipped without the screw kit. It came with stand-off but no screws. This isn't a huge deal. Rather, its an annoyance since I have screws already but it does suggest a lack of general QA.

This is a high-quality Raspberry Pi case. The attention to detail in the manufacturing process is excellent. The metal edges are rounded and deburred. The paint is of good quality, and I was not able to scratch it during the installation process. The silkscreening is crisp and a really nice touch. All of the GPIO pins are listed on the case. The included standoffs and spaces thread in well.It was lighter weight than I anticipated, but this was more of a surprise than anything else. It's aluminum.

Overall, this is a great case for a Raspberry Pi 5 with room for an NVMe HAT, heatsinks, and even an active cooler. Two of the best features of this case for me are the integrated power button and the area allowing access to the 40 GPIO. This case looks cool with the hex pattern, allowing for additional cooling during use. On the other side of that same coin, the same hex pattern will allow for more dust collection. The case is made with quality metal, looks good, does what it claims to do well, and is a great option for anyone with an RPi5 and a need for an NVMe HAT.According to the description, there should have been some additional included parts like long and short spacers, accommodating HATs with varying GPIO header lengths. Usually things like screws and other hardware are included with a case, and in the box was only the metal case. Trust me that I'm not saying that a HAT should have been included, and at a price of around $18 (at the time of order and review), if any type of HAT or active cooling had been included, I wouldn't have used it! There are times that the old vantage "You get what you pay for!" holds more true than you might think. If any electronics had been included at that price, then trying to use them would most likely have damaged my other components, including my Raspberry Pi. I haven't yet had a case arrive without any screws, standoffs, or any other hardware until this one, and I think it was a simple boxing error. I thankfully have so much of this stuff already that it didn't stop me at all. This is a great case, and I feel bad that I had to remove stars due to missing parts. It happens way more often than you might think, and the case really is a great design, price, and functionality, and it shouldn't be passed by for a small error in their factory's boxing department.*🤓Pro-Tip: As a side note, there are many simple things that would give hints as to what is and isn't included. Wording like "space for" and especially "are NOT Included" would usually let you know the included components. Price would be another huge hint when this case is more than $10 (USD) than any other cases that do include an NVMe HAT. The description states that there's room for heat sinks and active cooling as well, along with stating that they aren't included. To give a bad review based on items that shouldn't even be expected is hurtful for everyone, including other customers who are looking for quality products. My "true rating" (patent/copyright pending🤣) is 4.6 out of 5. (**This is based on the case alone, not the entire product due to the missing parts from my order.)🐻 *Statement/Disclaimer: This review is part of Amazon's Vine Program, which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for sincere/frank reviews. This case looks solid—great metal build, lots of ventilation, and the parts seem easy to assemble. I tried fitting a Raspberry Pi 4 just to get a sense of the size and build quality, but the ports didn’t align, so I couldn't fully test it. If you have a Pi 5, this seems like a great option, and the included QR code for setup is a nice touch.Worth noting: the case doesn’t come with a fan or a passive heatsink block (like the big aluminum ones you sometimes see in Pi builds). It’s just the metal case and mounting parts.Giving it 4 stars based on design and materials alone.

This case got a lot going for it. The best part I found was that it also acts as a heatsink for the Pi once you mount the board with the stand offs that comes with the case. They are a bit taller then most of the hat posts comes with but it does not jam the drive up to the top of the case like a lot of others will do and case drive overheating or worse yet a short. I really like how the GPIO are open in the top and are clearly labeled what each of the pins are. It does have cam spots for both the 5 and the 4 on the case. It also has spots to run the cables if you went to mount a cam to the top the case lid. There a good amount of air flow in and out the case without leaving the Pi bare to the point something could get in and touch something it should not. I run my Pi5 at 3Ghz CPU clocked and the GUP clocked to 1Ghz for over an hour and hammered the CPU for over a hour and the CPU never got over 87C most the time it was around 85 to 87C. SO it did great at keeping it running and it never dropped iot speeds. Over all I really like this case I just wish I knew what kind of fan the hole on the bottom of the case was for but it does have mounting for a wall mount but no like mounting for a TV or monitor but I don't know how many mount it to a TV or monitor anyway. The only thing I found is this case not going to work very will for most of the NVMe board that mount under the Pi.

Though there is a very small blurb about what is included in the package which does not list as included an M.2 HAT, this listing is written in a way that strongly implies that the HAT and Case are included with the purchase. Overall this is a nice solid case that fits the Pi5 without issue, and if you are simply looking for a case that can support your pi and has room for an M.2 HAT of your choice, this is a good option.
