This dish mounts securely onto a bowens style light mount. The inclusion of both the grid and the diffusion cloth is appreciated. I have a beauty dish where the grid was an extra purchase. The grid does seem to cut out quite a bit of light, but that is to be expected and if it helps achieve the desired quality f light, then the loss of quantity of light may be worth it. Saving the box it arrives in may be a good idea unless there is a dedicated place for this to be kept, as the box makes it much easier to stack with other gear.
