To my pleasant surprise, the netting is more than adequate to support the weight of our growing melons. From Watermelon to Cantaloupe, the ease of use and ability to utilize in a convenient tie-off, is a blessing. A good value. I recommend!

Great addition to my garden this year. We'll use these to hold the watermelons and the gourds and the pumpkins on the vine and trellises 🪴🍅🌶️🍈🍉

They’re made well, haven’t used them as of yet, but I’m sure they’ll do the job.

They work, but - they may have to be used differently than pictured. I used them for cantaloupe and couldn’t get the young fruit far enough into the bottom of the bag because of leaves, additional shoots, etc. If they’re not resting in the bottom of the bag they may come off the vine before they’re mature. So I had to use them as hammocks and rest the fruit on top of it which worked great. These are reusable as well. Nice price for what you get - and I’ll probably never have to order more.

This year I decided to grow a number of small melon plants vertically. The problem with that is that not all vines are strong enough to support their melons hanging. I have seen a number of work around ideas but decided that I wanted to try the hammock approach. In doing so I came across these little mesh bags and decided since there were 100 for about $7 (yes they were on sale) why not give them a try. I figured even if they were flimsy and they were only able to last a year I could afford the 7 cents per bag. They showed up and they were actually pretty good quality. They were solid and easy to tie to the trellis with the draw string and the mesh bag it actually created a double layer hammock for the fruit. Even after being exposed to the weather for several weeks, the bags showed no signs of wear and tear. In fact I swapped them around to new fruit after the first ones were harvested.I also use the bags to store some of my potatoes after they have been harvested and the little bags hold quite a few and are very strong. Will they last forever, no. They are stronger than a lot of the mesh bags you buy fruit in, even though they a thinner material. Overall for the price and the number of them that you get you cannot go wrong.Note: I am not putting anything in these bags or hanging melons that weigh more than that 4 or 5 pounds. If you are looking for something that needs to support 10 to 20 pounds these may not work.

I bought these melon bags to support my watermelon and it did for a bit till they grew larger then the ties broke these are great for cantaloupe or we used them for our potatoes. We put about 5lbs of potatoes in them. Works great for that. Would buy again for potatoes or onions

They’re just net bags without the yellow tie string as seen in the listings pictures or description. Very annoyed by this. Had to go buy rolls of wire string so I can tie the ends up. I’ve added photos. Product would be hundred times better if it actually had that yellow draw string to close the bags with the watermelons in them. I’m using them to hold a bit of weight of the growing baby Japanese watermelons.
