arrived missing half the mandrels. Shipped as a small box inside a huge bix without any packing materials. Small box was open. parts floating around inside shipping box. Wooden block, broken. Worse quality than expected. I know it's chicom, but I thought it would be better quality.

You could make more accurate ones but these are a good blank for customizing when in a hurry.

Last set I bought from another vendor they arrived dry and I needed to re-chase the threads. This set came individually wrapped and oiled. Even though the expansion screws were tight, they seemed fine. So overall, I'm very pleased with the quality. ---Saves lots of work when you need to grip something coaxially. They are not super hard so they are machinable or can be ground to the correct size and shape.
