I'm sorry I waited so long to purchase a quality parting tool. I've been using a Benjamin's Best because I figured a parting tool doesn't need to be high quality. I was wrong. This thing cuts like butter and works great in a skew-like action, for making round beads on spindle work. I really like this tool and will always have one in my arsenal.

tool is sharp and ready to use on arrival. First unit broke in the third use, but I didn't work the cut width enough to manage the drag on the tool shank as the depth approached the center of the workpiece. As a result the tool separated at the handle. Robert Sorby and Grizzly stood behind the product and replaced it immediately, no questions asked. And the Amazon return channel is the very best. Highly recommended.
