So if you're not flushing out your demand water heater at least once a year (we're on a well so I do it twice, once in the spring and again in the fall) then you may as well start socking money away for expensive repair or replacement. So if you ARE flushing out your demand water heater (congratulations!) but you're not replacing the inlet screen then the job isn't done. If you're rinsing out the screen and then putting it back in, stop being a cheapskate and replace it. Although you may be rinsing out the bigger debris, buildup is occurring on the mesh and that is not only restricting the water flow, it eventually will fail and then you will have chunks of stuff going through the ports and orifices of your heater. These replacement screens are a perfect fit, super easy to install, it takes seconds to unscrew the old one and put in the new one and a pack of 10 will last 5-10 years.

These a perfect OEM replacement for tankless water heater inlet filters.Great quality, fits perfectly and never had any leaks.Carefull to not over tighten them when putting them in, the plastic, while not really fragile, can break if overtighten.Price on Amazon is way cheaper than plumbing store and these are somewhat hard to find in stores anymore.

This product does not fit the Rheem tankless heater,ECOH 200DVLP. The filters sold here are to long, so they don't thread all the way in for a tight fit. To bad the seller cant give the information for what they do fit.Returning is not the issue. Opening the system, after draining, only then to find not going to work. That's the problem.
