The Team at GritShift has been trying to find a functional and appealing direct mount stem with a rise, to help the ergonomics on the Sur Ron, Segways, And Talaria's, we were unsuccessful. So we have created our own!
The GritShift Direct Mount Stem Features a 2" rise and 1 piece handlebar clamp, this helps ensure everything is square and perfectly aligned. This stem was designed with the facts, Your E-Bike is heavier and faster than what most mountain bike parts were intended to be used for. This helps to ensure longtime use and function for parts on your e-bike, There made specifically for them.
We aimed for the perfect combination of strength, weight, and value. All products are tough enough for extreme conditions and light enough for racing applications. Every product is tested to destruction in the shop and for function on the trails by our riders and team.

Product arrived with package intact. Upon opening the package it was immediately evident that that there was issues. Riser was covered in water spots and dirt. All surfaces had scrapes and scratches. When I removed the 4 hex screws holding the riser cap on one of the screws came out bent and cross threaded pulling with a coil of threads attached. Half the threads are noticeably seen missing in the picture. From there more production issues can be seen in the two sides of the riser mount. Machined surfaces are different causing misalignment. Overall terrible quality product that is being grossly overhyped. Not worth nearly the amount they are priced at. Now I have to deal with the hassle of returning a product that never should have been sent. Will not purchase Gritshify products again.

Just arrived and for $81.00 this is NOT worth it, arrived damaged , obviously used and with black marker covering up a big dent on it , horrible quality control !!!I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO ANYONE !

Stripped two of these stems out now. I've worked on mountain bikes my whole life so I know how much torque these parts should receive. The aluminum alloy is extremely soft and threads strip out too easily. Will be returning and looking for other solutions for riser stem. disappointing.

Works great and raises the handlebar giving you more comfortable posture when riding.

I shelled out the 80 bucks thinking it would be a onetime deal but I've now totaled 2 of them and the most recent was just slipping my tire off a single track.I have moved onto just getting a yz front end as I don't think these aluminum parts can really handle enduro, Single track, Hill climbing shenanigans.

So the item was ordered, then shipped in the usual manner. Then the amazing occurred. Four bolts were missing from an apparent pilferage. Notified the ‘Bro’s at Gritshift and presto, the four missing bolts appear!! Thanks so much Gritshift. Now I am rippin’ with you!
