My husband loved this for Father's day! He actually noticed the little inscriptions on the spoon and shovel, which I had not noticed when I purchased it. I'm not sure if the shovel and spoon will hold up well, but they do have weight to them and my spouse tends to eat harder ice cream. I would imagine if he ate soft ice cream, they would hold up great. The bowl is large, which works great for a true ice cream lover!

This was a fun gift to give to my husband as an anniversary gift. It is a large capacity ceramic mug with a handle. It comes with two engraved spoons that look like shovels.
