In a word, dang near perfect. It pops open like an umbrellas and is simple to put in place. Once in place, it will stay unless you close it. You can move it around the for the rigjht fit and coverage. I used it in a Kia K5 and it covers just about all of the front window to keep the car cool and protected from the sun. Slightly flimsy like an umbrella when not erect. I do worry that in time with repeated use that it may lose it's rigidity. I've used it multiple times and for now it's still working appropriately. If that chagnes, then my review would receive a follow-up. It comes with a storage container for it when not in use which makes it easy to store rather than just tossing in the passenger or back seat. It could be user error or the design of the vehicle but in order to ensure that it stays, I flip down my visors. That may be how they all work, but was something I wasn't thinking would be necessary.

I'm pretty satisfied with this sunshade. I ordered it for my 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander, and I have to say that I'm impressed. I love how it just pops open like an umbrella and stays in place once you’ve lined it up where you want. It’s super easy to use and way more convenient than those twist-and-fold sunshades that are always a hassle. Adjusting it is simple, and it folds back down without any struggle. The quality feels solid, and I don’t see it tearing or wearing out anytime soon. My only complaint is that it’s slightly bigger than I expected. I ordered it specifically for my car model, but it still feels a bit oversized. That said, it doesn’t really change my opinion; I'm still satisfied, and I’d definitely recommend it.

I have been seeing these umbrella style sunshades for a while now and wanted to give one a chance. They are pretty funky. You need some space to unfold and fold again and that may mean fighting for room between your body and the steering wheel, and the ends can get caught on things.Once up, I like the effect. In my case, the windshield is not very tall but it very wide and so this shade fits one dimension and not the other - needs to be wider by about 8 inches for full coverage, but to get that would mean taller and I can't make any more vertical space. So there is a bit of luck involved in getting one that is the right size for your car.Once folded, it is a bit unruly, just like any umbrella but because it is so wide there is more material to have to get under control. It comes with a long strip of velcro attached at one end and when you fold it up you really NEED to use the velcro to hold it all together. It does come with a storage case which is semi-hard sided and zips. It is pretty fancy, honestly, but not something I will shove the shade into on a daily basis when I am likely to be in a hurry.I fear a bit about bending up the support rods but so far it has proven to be flexible and durable enough.

I picked this up because the summer sun has not been kind lately, and I have to say—it’s been a great little upgrade. This sunshade works just like an umbrella, so setup is super simple. No fumbling with awkward panels or wrestling it into place. Just pop it open, angle it, and you’re good to go.It fits my windshield well and the flexible rod helps get the right angle so everything lines up. The anti-scratch sleeves are a smart touch too—they help keep the dashboard safe when you’re putting it in and out. I’ve used it daily for a week or so and the material still looks new, even with folding and unfolding.Biggest win? My car is noticeably cooler when I get in. The reflective surface really does its job. No more hot steering wheel or melted phone cords. It also folds up small and comes with a case, so it tucks away neatly between the seats. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, effective sunshade, this one definitely delivers for the price.

We're in florida and i use sunshades always. Can never get the wife or daughter too though! I typically use the folding accordion type. I kept wanting my daughter to protect her vehicle inside and she wouldn't use the accordion (or the twist types). I got her this to try. She immediately liked this and found it easy to install and it fit her car well. Now to get one for the wife. Not sure of longevity, if you get the right size it's really easy to put in and take out, though it's too large i could see you breaking the umbrella mechanism from too much force, so be sure to measure.Update: We've switched all our cars over to these umbrella types. Each is a bit different in how it handles the rear view and how the handle/arm folds or not. This one has a hinge, it's by FAR my favorite, but you have to be careful it hinges one way. Another type we have has a bendable gooseneck, that one is OK my daughter likes it. Another has no hinge it's a bit tough to deal with opening or closing space wise in the car. I like the hinge as it it's quicker and just feels easier to place and remove, but if you're not careful type you may prefer the gooseneck style. This one is my favorite out of the 3 types.

It says it's compatible with my Hyundai Tucson, but its about 1 inch short all the way around. I would rather it be just a little big.It doesn't have a cutout for your rear view mirror either which is very annoying.
