I have always tried to use a normal gamepads in games for rc drones and even rc planes but it just did not feel right and i could not get a hang of it so when i saw this flydrone game controller i wanted to give it a try and see how i like it and do with it.When i first received it i liked the build quality of it while it's light weight which really you do want a controller to be more light than heavy but it still feels solid and comfortable in the hand and the control sticks are very smooth feeling and the toggle switch's has a nice snap click feel to them and it does feel like a legit rc drone and plane controller cause i do have a couple of real rc drones to compare the controllers and i also like that it uses usb type c instead of mini usb than when it's plugged in it detects as startrc in game controllers under windows 11 and you can test it out to make sure all the buttons works.Than first game i tried was fpv skydrive and it detected the controller right away and i was off flying drones and everything was smooth with this controller and it was like flying a real rc drone than i also tried it with rc plane 3 which is just planes and it also detected the controller and i just had to change some binds on it and it worked out perfect so you forsure can use this for planes also, And another thing i was happy about chrome os also detects this controller perfect so you can play the android games that is listed also if you have a chrome book which i also have so i can't wait to try out all the other games that is listed.I had no issues at all with this flydrone s8 controller it works perfect and it is much better to use than a normal gamepad for drones and even rc planes games and I'm sure this can be used for other flight games also and the build quality is great and for it's current value which was 40$ i say it is well worth it and as i am typing this i do notice it's unavailable right now but forsure keep a eye on it cause it is worth getting and i am glad i did cause i love it so it does get a solid 5 stars from me👍

I am just getting started flying camera drones and have thought about trying FPV drones, but it's intimidating. So, as an entertaining and educational activity, I thought I'd try a simulation game. The first thing needed is a controller so I got this StartRC FPV remote controller. It is truly plug and play as demonstrated when I got Free Rider FPV from Steam and got it set up and running in no time. The simplicity of just plugging this device into my USB port is really appealing. Sturdy device, powered off the computer's USB port, so no batteries required. I am very impressed and happy with this product! I would recommend to anyone looking for a great value in a well designed and durable FPV remote controller.
