I have a PC without wifi (just ethernet) and I wanted to wirelessly connect to an external display using Miracast. this slotted in and without having to install drivers or anything it just worked perfectly. I haven't got its bluetooth working yet but I don't need it for that

Great little card, just remember to be cautious with the connectors. I connected up proper AC/Wifi5 speed right away at 700-800mbps according to Windows, can full utilize my 480mbps internet easily. Pops in quick, my installation was even easier than some due to me using it in a PC test bench instead of a laptop. No drivers needed for Windows 11, works great!

Works out of the box. It does not come with the cables that connect to the antennas, but it's assumed you'll use this module in a laptop or OEM prebuilt that has them.

I recently decided to set up a home lab and purchased a used Dell Optimplex 7060. It was a little underpowered out of the box so I decided to upgrade it a bit to include an nvme drive, more ram and a wifi adapter. I planned on having it cabled but figured for a small cost I could have this also have wifi, which turned out to be quite handy. My home routers arent capable of running multiple vlan's so having the wifi adapter allowed me to have two IP's coming off the Dell, which ended up solving a bigger problem. Having this allows me access to the proxmox webgui while still running all of the vm's on a different subnet. At least, I think so. Honestly I haven't gotten to the point of running vm's yet. The main thing here is that the card fit perfectly and there was no additional things I needed to do to get it running.Long story short, this is working out great. No issues out of the box.

This was used to replace a wifi card that stopped working. Just check your connection type to make sure this is the correct one as there are a few different types.
