This is a descent case but it is real tight. I bought it for a 70's Cortez J200 copy. Putting the guitar in it is like my wife putting on a pair of jeans she bought two years ago. She can get into them but its a squeeze. Also tried my Gibson J200 in it and same thing.

I have four hard cases I love them three electric guitar cases and I ne acoustic case look great and functional I have peace of mind with my guitars protected in my chromacast cases

I like this case for its simplicity. The latches are well placed and easy to use. I get compliments on how nice it looks which I wasn't expecting. I bought the case to protect my guitar and wasn't purchasing it for "looks". My jumbo Sawtooth 12 string fits in the case perfectly. There is no excess room so the guitar doesn't shift around yet not too tight that it has to be forced into place. The storage compartment is deeper than expected and easily handles an extra set of strings, capo, tuner, picks, string tool, and even a small pair of wire cutters. Very good case for the money.

The measurements were exactly as given in the description, and I measured the guitar twice (well, maybe more), so it fit perfectly.United considered it very checkable, and in fact did not charge me an excess size fee--your experience may vary. Remember to release the string tension for extra safety while shipping.This is a wooden case with the attached padding and coatings, so it is not light. It does esconce the fragile wooden guitar in a cuddled, protective layer built for resistance to any pressure, whether it comes at a point or in the form of a heavy box.While it was entrusted to the belt like any other bag when I checked it (saves time!), at the other end it came out in the oversized zone, not on the standard carousel, so be aware of this possibility, which will be determined by some airport worker you never see.Also since it is clearly a musical instrument, and looks like an expensive case, it probably gets handled a little more gently by others.

Received the case super-quickly, almost next-day, which is rare for Alaska.The quality of materials is great. I have a "more expensive" custom Humicase for one of my guitars. The quality of materials and craftsmanship for ChromaCast case is exactly the same as the more pricey case that costs several times more. It literally has exactly the same locks, top cover materials. The more affordable ChromaCast actually feels much nicer inside. It fits my classical guitar like a glove (Yamaha GC-7S). There is no wiggle room, zero tolerances. It is as if this case was custom-fit to my guitar, I love it.If this is of any importance to you, the case also smells like nicely seasoned cedar wood. The smell is very pleasant, and now my guitar smells like it too. This is a nice change from new items smelling like cancer causing plastics and glues. Makes it so much nicer getting your guitar in and out.The case is sturdy, my baby climbed on top of it and all over it (don't try that with the guitar inside). It will protect your instrument under reasonable circumstances. Depending on how expensive your instrument is, you could take the risk of shipping it in this case as luggage. Inside, there is a thick layer - on all sides - of velvety materials and underneath it - some serious memory foam or similar. Considering the fact that the guitar has no wiggle room, the case holds it very firmly, I would trust this case to keep my instrument safe even when things outside get rough. I usually don't write reviews, but because the case is so awesome at this unbelievable price, I felt inclined.

This is for the Jumbo Guitar Case:I have no idea what all the reviewers of these cases are actually doing the Review on or of for that matter. But I have purchased 4 of these cases, 2 for the Jumbo & 2 for Dreadnoughts, and I am very impressed with the quality and most important the Price. I used to get my cases from Phitz but they have gone belly up I think because they closed down their site and opened an Amazon store with only 6 items and none are hard-shell cases and they never carried a Jumbo case.But anyway:I have never received a case with loose seams or shoddy work as stated by other reviews. I have recommended these cases to 2 of my co-workers and they too have been impressed. Granted they are not "Anvil" or "Flight" cases but they are keeping my EJ200's and my Takamine 6 & 12 string very well protected going to and coming from any gig. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM!

Protected Classical guitar on a trip .It was packed in a storage compartment of a Coach bus . Case and instument help up well.instrument fits my instrument 'snug '-so there is no movement in the case. The handle seems sturdy. I carried from Coach to Hotel room and Auditorium for a concert. The interior is plush and soft and cushons the instrument well and has a small compartment -good for extra strings ,or other small items like a tuner. small towel. The outside of the case seems strong and appears can withstand bumping or banging. There are small metal studs on the case with protects the case from being scracted when placing on the ground. There are clips which keep the case tightly closed and has a lock and keys .I did not lock the case but tested the lock and it did function properly. This is the first Hard case Ive owned so I cannot compare to other hard cases .I normally use a well padded gig back having this case I feel my instrument is much more secure and I am pleased with the results. My instrument made it safely to and from the concert .This is why I gave it 5 stars.

Very nice case for the price, but some reviews said it would fit a Les Paul style body, which is true for the width, and length, but for depth, this case is not deep enough. There is extra padding in the area of the pickups, but when I close the case, I have to force the case down harder near the pickups etc... my biggest concern is the switch as it is angled, and under the pressure could be damaged... most likely returning the case, for something with an arched top, etc.If you have a guitar that doesn't have a neck with much angle, and the body isn't that deep, this is the case to get. Some reviewers said that it had a strong chemical smell when they got theirs, mine had no smell, was well stocked with the desiccant packs for moisture, wrapped in plastic and delivered in the factory cardboard box. Picks and guitar strap were included.I wish this worked for my LP Studio, just can't take the risk with the depth!

The case is very nice but it didn't come with the guitar strap or pick sampler.The only thing I got was the case nothing else.

I must love these. I've purchased a dozen or more for all my guitars. I was tired of them getting dusty or bumped. Now they stack nicely on a shelf and I don't lose sleep over damaging them.
