Had to buy this to replace a 4 year old other brand tire that suffered from dry rot and would not hold air. This is the second time I have used this kind of Carlisle tire for my boat trailer and the last one gave me good service for several years, just like I expect this one to. Was found for a good price and arrived quickly.

Like the tires for the money. Put them on my john boat trailer and they work great so far. Lots of dirt roads and no flats yet.

Fit like they should I was able to put them on the rim myself with elbow grease and dish soap even if they only last a year still good deal for the price

I have a 4 foot x 7 foot flatbed trailer that I have had since I built it in 2012. I just installed the new CARLISLE tires on it and I am sure I will get another 8-10 years of service from them! Great quality at a GREAT PRICE! Thank You AMAZON!

Put these on a utility cart to replace the cheap tires that it cam with. This cart is not meant for road use and had really thin wall tires. These tires are much better and thicker. I used new tubes in them as that is how the original ones were. Mounting was a little tuff but I left them out in the sun for a hour or so to warm them up. Use plenty of liquid dish soap on the tire bead and rim. After I had the tire started on the rim I put it in a vise to keep that part on the rim and then worked the rest on with a large screwdriver. It went pretty easy after that. In my case using a tube I had to be careful not to pinch the tube.

Bought as a replacement tire for an 8 year old Harbor Freight tag along trailer. A pain to mount, but that's because of the size (4.80 -8), not the tire. The tire is made in China, but seems to be of good quality rubber. The tire DOES have tread wear indicators (labeled as TWI on the sidewall near the tread), contrary to what another reviewer said. Also has the DOT number and coded date of manufacture.Only time will tell, but appear to be better quality than the original tire that this replaced.

Tires are a good replacement for the weather cracked tires that were on my log splitter. I installed tubes to make more durable and to hold air better due to rim rust.I had to grind off the welding spauls to ensure the tubes would not be punctured by the spauls.I suggest feeling the inside of the rims. It should be smooth if installing tubes. Otherwise, the tubes will fail.

I have a small boat trailer converted to a dump trailer. I use it getting wood an hauling rocks and things. It is used off road over difficult trails. These Carlisle are pretty tough. They mounted well and I am sure I will get good service from them.
