This is a very unique little machine. It's extremely portable, able to fit in your car's drink holder. It's going to primarily be a camping tool for me, as it nicely fits in as a 'many-in-one' type of tool, that helps save space. I so sometimes use it a tea brewer when I'm on my way to work, as it has an included tea infuser. It heats up reasonably fast given that it draws power from the car's battery and not a full power outlet. I haven't had any safety issues of ANY sort - everything works as it should and it feels completely safe and well built. The LED on the front is great because you can set your desired temp and it will heat up to that point (Tea and Coffee require different water temps).I definitely like this little kettle - I only wish that it had a 20oz capacity and not a 15oz - that way it would make enough for two nice sized cups of coffee or tea. That's not a fault of the product, just a preference of mine.5 STARS

This travel kettle has completely changed how I do long drives and busy mornings. It heats water surprisingly quickly and lets you choose the exact temperature you need, which is great whether you’re making tea, coffee, or warming a bottle. The display is clear, and the controls are easy to use even when you’re half-awake or multitasking. I was also impressed by how solid and leak-proof it is—absolutely no spills even when it’s rolling around in the car. The dry-burn protection gives peace of mind, and the 12V/24V compatibility means it works for both my car and my partner’s truck. It’s a smart, compact solution for anyone who spends time on the road and doesn’t want to rely on gas station coffee.

I enjoy having tea when I'm out and about and have been using a vacuum flask of hot water that I fill up before I leave, but this is a great option for times where that isn't possible (long road trips, etc...). It's not the fastest kettle I've used and I'm not sure how much power it draws down from a battery with the engine not running (so I probably wouldn't use it with a weak battery on a cold winter day), but to have properly hot water ready to go at the next rest stop it's great.

This portable electric kettle is absolutely very handy when traveling ! As a coffee lover i gotta say this is what i needed ! Just perfect for so many reasons, first of all the fact that it doesn’t only keep your coffee warm but also heats it up is one of the great functionality it has ! It doesn’t like at all and I love the temperature control feature ! The design is very nice and the size is just perfect ! This is great investment and great value !

This was too slow to be functional. It took 17 minutes to heat the water up to 130, which made warm “hot chocolate”. I set it to boil (212 degrees) but gave up after 20 minutes. I recorded the whole 17 minutes, but the video was too long to be uploaded. Not a fan.

A few months ago, I bought a similar product for a cross country drive. I have an autoimmune issue that makes my mouth excessively dry, and to combat it, I drink a lot of teas. The idea of being in a car for 3 days without ready access to tea for this condition was concerning. So I found a travel kettle and ended up using it to make tea and hot cocoa for us during our drive through a midwest blizzard.Sure beat paying $4 or $6 bucks a pop at places along the way that focus on coffee.Anyway, getting to this car kettle. While the other one was good, serviceable and reliable, this one is BETTER.How so?The display is larger, making it easier to see what temperature you're setting it at.The plug input is high on the kettle, so you can have this in your cup holder while boiling water or having your tea steep. There's a nice steel infusing basket that has two handles to remove it without burning yourself. There's a pour spout! Many kettles in this category don't have one. Just don't forget to take the infusing basket out before you pour your tea. If need be, you can drink directly out of the kettle with this pour spout, but I recommend using a travel mug instead.I tend to make BIG cups of tea, so the 15 ounce capacity is near perfection for me (my other one is 13 oz).Something to point out - direct current from you car battery is NOT going to work as fast as (alternating current)AC does in your home.Where my electric kettle will boil 1.7 liters of water in about 3 minutes, the fact that this may take 8 to 10 minutes to boil should be expected. Odds are, you got this because you're going to be in a car for a while - just enjoy the fact that it's heating while you drive and you don't have to stop at a drive through to get a hot beverage anymore! You can have exactly what you want, the way you want it, within minutes of deciding you want it.

This electric kettle looks beautiful, especially with its color and design. However, I don't think it's suitable for boiling water. I’ve tried using it, and it takes an incredibly long time to raise the temperature even by one degree Fahrenheit. It might work better as a thermal container to keep water warm after you've already boiled it elsewhere

I will say that it does what it says it will do (boil about 16oz of water) but there's only so much power and heat that can be drawn from a car's accessory port. It takes about 15 minutes for the water to boil. I also tried to use it with an A/C adapter and the adapter got really hot; hotter than when I use a travel refrigerator so it must be using a ton of juice.Still, it did boil the water so no complaints there. I wish there was a better way to store the cable. The cup does not hold heat very well. So after boiling your water, you should transfer it to a better container that can keep temperature better.Although this thing fits in my cup holder better than my thermos.Lastly, I did overfill the container the first time I tried using it and it gave an error and wouldn't start. after dumping out some water, it worked perfectly.
