The item description says 17oz (500ml) but you're not going to get that unless you fill it to the brim of the neck. At which point you wouldn't want to put the lid on. There is a line inside that says "300ml", and above it a line that says "MAX" which turns out to be about 400ml. So that's the real-life size of this kettle.The box that it came in is labeled "ATS-24503AC" but the label on the bottom of the kettle says "ATS-24501AC", I don't know whether this is significant or not. The color is a dark grey, not purple as expected, and the cord is white.The real problem is that the power button on this unit doesn't work reliably. I filled it with water to the 300 mark and plugged it in. The display beeped and read "---" which is off/standby mode as described. Then I touched the button and nothing happened. I held my finger on the button for several seconds and nothing happened. Finally it flashed 212F and then rapidly stepped through the other temps faster than I could read them, ending up at 75. I pressed it again, nothing. Pressed again, and it went back to "---".I probably would have kept it (it would make one cup of tea nicely) but not if I can't get it to work. Returning this one.

Excellent product! It heated up to 212 degrees in literally three minutes. The water was extremely hot—it worked as advertised.

So I bought this item for work on the cold days which is coming, the water heats up fast no problem there, I like that it has a cup no worries. It comes with a plug. I touched the outside the kettle after the water stopped boiling and I didn’t burn myself. I hope this review helps.

It used to take over an hour to boil, this was because of power inverter failing or something. With a good power source it will boil the full liter in about 10-20 minutes. Pretty good product.

OMG! THIS IS SO AWESOME, I WAS SKEPTICAL AT FIRST BUT I WENT AHEAD AND PURCHASED IT ITS MORE OF A BRICK RED COLOR WHICH I PREFER AND WATER BOILS IN AS LITTLE AS 5 MINUTES. THE CUP HOLDS 5oz AND ITS JUST ENOUGH FOR MY COFFEE WHEN IM AWAY IN LONG MEETINGS. ITS ALSO A GOOD SIZE FOR TRAVEL. DO RECOMMEND!
