I just wanted something to spray Slick Sand primer, needed the 2.5 tip. Opened the box and the 1.4 was on the gun, no problem… Took the wrench that was in the box, and started wrenching. The tip was on so tight I busted a blood vessel in my brain and just about had an aneurysm. My hands swollen up, and I actually broke the table that my vice is attached to. The wrench finally stripped out, cause in my hand to hit the table and almost breaking five fingers. I eventually went to the toolbox and took a pair of vice grips and clamped it on the tip and hit it with a 2 pound hammer…..Get what you pay for!!!Update###…. Got the 2.5 tip on and started spraying, primer in the gun started bubbling inside the cup. From my 25 years of painting I knew it was a air leak somewhere. I used thread tape everywhere I could and it got better but not perfect. Waisted a $90 can of Slick Sand primer because it was shooting like your grandparents stucko ceiling…Popcorn everywhere!!! Best to buy this and use it as a paper weight or door stop.

It works pretty good, I use it with a 21 gallon air compressor for wood painting/finishing projects. My only issue is it is advertised with a 1.4, 1.7, and 2.5 needle sets, but mine came with a 2.0 instead of the 2.5. All in all I make the 2.0 work, but I would have preferred the 2.5.

I recently got my hands on the YXGOOD Body Repair Paint Spray Guns Kit for a few DIY projects, and it's been a fantastic experience. The kit's versatility is its biggest strength, coming with 1.4mm, 1.7mm, and 2.5mm nozzles, which cater to a variety of painting needs.I first used it for some minor car bodywork. The 1.4mm nozzle was perfect for this, giving me a fine, even coat. The finish was surprisingly professional for a DIY job. I then tried the 1.7mm nozzle for furniture refinishing, and it worked like a charm. I think the expectations for this paint sprayer is really dependent upon the experience one might have with these types of tools. A person with some experience may see it one way and people like me, who have no experience, will see this in a different light.When I unpacked the paint sprayer, I was impressed with both the sprayer and the accessories. It's nice that three different size nozzles come with the sprayer. I like have the option, but there doesn't seem to be any fine spray nozzles for detail work. I also really like that there are three control knobs to allow for full adjustment of air pressure, paint flow rate, and spray coverage. There is also the option to change the angle of spray.My main use will be to paint my shed, as well as wood fixtures I make. If I get any good at this, perhaps I'll try to repair and paint some paint bubbling on my wife's car.I am used to cleaning airbrush pens and how clean they need to be in order to keep them in good shape. Even though it takes some time to clean this paint sprayer, I was expecting that to be the case.As a novice, I like this paint sprayer.

This paint gun was a pleasant surprise, I used it to paint a car hood and it did awesome. I had a 5 gallon air compressor and had no problem and it looked pro. For the price and the quality you cant go wrong with this paint spray gun.
