With the one that was shipped, I was unable to adjust the spray like my older model. I removed the nozzle and found it was missing an internal part (diffuser?). I contacted the company and they resolved the problem. Great company! Wonderful product!

Great quality. This was exactly what I wanted. I use it to dispense Kroil, and it has held up wonderfully. The spray function works great with Kroil but probably won't work well with thicker oil. The wide base looks dumb at first, but let me tell you, I've never knocked it over.

I wanted an oiler that could do a coarse spray. This can do that, or a stream, or a fine spray, all without adjusting anything but how hard I pull the trigger.The included tag said that it will not atomize high viscosity fluids, like motor oil. I haven't tried that yet. Mine is loaded with Boeshield T-9, and it works like a dream. No more wasted oil from uncontrollable aerosol cans.I did notice that the price went up right after I bought it. I am waiting for it to come back down to $17 so that I can buy several more.My sole complaint is the small reservoir size. When shooting rust inhibitor on tools or tractors I can empty it pretty quickly. They used to make a taller can for their oilers. I will have to check with them.

The first unit I received was damaged, the knurled adjustment spray tip was seized and it was cosmetically dented on the side. The replacement unit has bubbling chrome on the top. Functionally, neither unit would *spray* even the thinnest liquid. I even tried it with denatured alcohol and it doesn't mist, even when the tip is closed as far as it will go. If you want a thin stream, it works great and will shoot a jet of penetrating oil pretty far. Overall, it's okayish.

it doesn't tip over as easily as ones with no flared out base. the bottom is steel with tin coating inside. the nozzle worries me because it has a white plastic inside. is this resistant to xylene and mek? I put a mixture of xylene and iso 32 oil in it and it works well. more of a tiny stream than a mist. the stream continues a few seconds after you stop pumping.

I know a guy who uses Goldenrod oil cans daily in a manufacturing setting for oiling babbit bearings and other machinery parts so I know this manufacturer to make excellent products. I got tired of buying WD-40 in spray cans because it is pricey and because the nozzles clog which annoys me. So I purchased this (624) Spray Tip Oiler with Straight Spout - 10 oz. Capacity and a gallon of WD-40 and have not looked back. I have been using it semi-regularly for the last month or two and it is reliable, easy to use and the wide base means it does not tip over. if you are on the fence about buying this - buy it. You will not be sorry. It is solid and looks and feel and operates like it will last forever. I like to know that it works, that I can rely on it and that I will not have to replace it any time soon - which would be the case if it was made in China.

It can’t spray oil less than extremely thin oil. Motor oil just drops out the nozzle. however is you want to spray diesel or mineral spirits it works well and built tough.
