Came nicely wrapped as a gift and also came with a cute bow lined with satin... Which was an unexpected but nice surprise considering the hourglass is a little pricey but well worth it ...

Did not time for seconds but tested for minutes. I bought the black sand Gemini and it definitely runs for 30 minutes (not 29 or 31). I put it on my desk next to my PC and use it to remind me to stop and do something physical every 30 minutes or 1 hour by flipping it over to run again. Very attractive and not too heavy but heavy enough not to tip over by a bump of the hand. The glass is clear and thick - not easily breakable. Love it and would buy again as a gift without hesitation.

I ordered this as a gift. I was nervous but I figured I could always return it. It took awhile to receive but it was earlier than projected. I didn’t indicate it was a gift at purchase and it came wrapped with beautiful paper and a bow. So I didn’t open it to pre check quality. I told my son if the present sucked we’d return it. To my surprise and joy it was absolutely amazing! He loved it, I loved it. I almost want to order myself one now but I won’t since we don’t need 2 of the same thing. Haven’t checked time accuracy but who cares. It’s just a decoration for him.
