These are great; I was genuinely surprised at the quality. They are made of glass. The sand is colorful. The text printed on the glass is large and legible. The size of the hourglasses is right where I wanted it to be. My expectations were pretty low and these turned out to be pretty incredible. We're using these as a homework + take a break aid for my daughter.

These sand timers are sturdy and work great. If you are a teacher, or a mom, these are a great visual timer to keep kids on task.

They are glass but not delicate. I still only trust them around my older child because the baby throws things.

Very well made at a generous price given its educating children in so many ways. Undamaged delivery in a solid box within a delivery box on time. Vibrant, shiny colored sands and strong Professionally designed fixtures make their lifespan high. .. IMOI believe that if kids are using them and occasionally they could fall from a table or countertop height they'd EASILY survive. Even throwing and hitting a wall too.Dad and Mom stepping on them in the middle of the night trying to get across the living toy room now THAT'S a different story.
