How to use :
- Insert paper in trimmer by placing it under the clear bar.
- Cut paper by pressing on the square blade carriage and sliding it up and down along the clear bar.
- Remove paper from trimmer by raising the clear bar.
How to change blade : - Slide blade carriage to the blade removal groove near the bottom of the clear bar, pull up on the carriage to remove.
- Set the new carriage into the groove and slide it up the clear bar to set in place.
- Replacement Blades are available in our Amazon store.

My friend was unhappy her favorite cutter was discontinued. The new ones are bigger and a bit different to use. So we looked for a replacement that was most like the one she and I both had. This one fit that bill. Both imperial measurements and centimeters. Swing out arm to cut a 12x12 inch paper. This one works.I wish they would add one more inch to be able to cut 13x19” paper. The 13”. Is the size I need. I print my own paper. I have a rotary cutter that is not accurate enough. This would be lightweight and easy to Cary around. It sure would make my day!

I had purchased the larger size of this trimmer and loved it. Since i travel for my paper crafting i wanted a more compact size and this fit the bill perfectly. The cutting blades are interchangeable with my large one. Also Amazon carries the blade replacements. This is sturdy snd accommodates up to 12x12 inch papers.

It does not give a clean cut. The cut is rough. The cut is also not straight. It's completely useless to me.

Perfect light weight hard working trimmer WITH A HOLE AT THE TOP TO HANG IT!!! my deciding factor of this trimmer was that it had a hole to hang it. Might seem odd but my space is so limited. I have this hanging on a magnetic hook on the outside of my "cricut cart" it's super accurate, cuts butter smooth and easily handles 12" vinyl or scrapbook papers. Very happy that there are replacement blades for it as well! So pleased!

My use of this trimmer may be unusual- I have had for many years a 12" trimmer that was only a couple of inches wide, I could keep it in my desk center drawer, and use it to trim paper for mailing labels etc. After years, the blade grew too dull and I had to replace it. I selected this Bria trimmer as the best available replacement. I could not find exactly what I wanted, but the Bria came the closest. At 5" it is too wide to go in my center drawer. It has a large bed that I don't need and it has a fold-out arm that is a full 10 inches which makes it difficult to use on a crowded desk. Paper doesn't slide underneath the cutter bar easily, unless the cutter bar is unsnapped from right and left sides. But, with all of these limitations, it comes the closest to replacing my original trimmer that I can find.If you can afford the desk space for storage and for use, the Bria trimmer will work well for you. Replacement blades are reasonably priced and easily replaced. The trimmer is well made and looks like it will last a long time. I've used it about a dozen times since it was delivered and each time it was easy (after clearing desk space) to use, gave me accurate results, and did just what I wanted it to do. It is a very reasonable replacement for my prior trimmer.

Best paper cutter I've owned. I have a few of the little Fiskar ones. Those are not accurate. I even have an expensive professional Carl paper cutter. This Bira is more accurate and a ton lighter to use. It has nice silicone feet that keep it steady and square on a table. I wish it came with a second blade, but you can buy a two pack here on Amazon.

I have severe RA in my hands and it is very difficult to open the guide. However, it is easy to use otherwise. I sincerely love this cutter! It is accurate, easy to see and match up the marks and lightweight.
