I read a bunch of reviews about being too tight to get on, taking out the pins, and removing the rubber. I got mine and all 10 popped right on and locked in place with no problems whatsoever! They are solid and look good. When I get a third scope I'll get some more of these!

I use these to cover up antenna connectors on my radios and I have to say, these are simply genius. They have a seal at the bottom of the connector and you can unscrew the center conductor, completely removing it. This means no wear on your connector but it’s now dust proof. These all require a bit of force to get the lugs to engage which presses the rubber seal against the connector. I now use these on every radio I own and I’ll need to buy more pretty soon.

Excellent value for the money. Does exactly what it supposed to. You’re open BNC connectors and keep the noise in your circuit down.

The one star reviewer mentioned that the shorting pins on the batch he received are not centered. I am not comfortable with having the shorting pin, as (1) the BNC female connection may wear out after repeated use, (2) who knows if the diameter of the male shorting pin is correctly sized, and (3) the male pin may not be centered, resulting in damage to the BNC female connector. So I unscrewed and removed these. Also, the rubber seal is very thick, and I have to force the cover on. I am not comfortable with forcing anything. All I want is a dust cap to protect the BNC inputs when my equipment is not in use and stored away. So, I removed the rubber seal. Now I have exactly what I need!

We carry our radios into the field in various packs, rigid boxes, etc. we never think that dust might get inside connectors on our radios. These covers are protectors which one day might be the difference between a good day in the field and a day in which we are unable to establish contact because our connectors are fouled.
