Nice stem riser for bicycles, with multiple collars to adjust height to what is comfortable for you. It comes with the Allen wrench for securing the stem riser screw. This is lightweight, made of aluminum, I think. Easy to install, feels durable and should last a long time.

out of the box is looks great! Definitely long enough to raise the handles where i need them. I give it 3 starts because i would presume they had the material heat treated for structural integrity especially the threading for the dtem screws. I ride a massive 29'er and i dont want my steering of all things to come loose. As i was tightening down i still had space before the screw bottomed out and all a sudden ive got flakes coming out where it stripped the threads on the stem extension. Not enthused about this. Its affordable but i suggest this riser for a road bike not trail bike or bikes that will get ridden on rough terrain.

This matte black stem riser is both attractive and sturdy, weighing 6.5 ounces, including the bolt and washers. During installation, you'll want to make sure that all three nuts (Allen wrench included) are tightly secured to provide a solid hold, since you'll be placing a substantial amount of weight and forward pressure on the handlebars. You can position the individual washers below/above the handlebar stem to customize the desired height boost, though you might need to replace your shifter and/or brake cables if they don't have enough slack to accommodate the added stretch.

I prefer a riding posture that is not greatly bent over. I have other stem risers on some of my many bicycles. This is the tallest riser I've ordered, and I regard its height as a good thing. This one is a bit more expensive than the others (ordered years ago), but it seems very well made.It might be taller than a particular rider needs, in which case it would add some pointless weight and could be a protruding hazard in the event of a crash, but it could easily be cut down to any length desired.I'm very pleased with it.

I picked up this stem extender for my bike to get the handlebars a bit taller. I've only had a chance to ride with it for about 5 or 6 miles so far, so it's still early days. What I can say for sure is that my posture feels much better already. Even on that short ride, I noticed a difference. I'm not hunched over as much, and it just feels more comfortable. The quality of the part itself looks great. I'll admit, the stem looks a bit longer now, which seems a little weird just because I'm not used to the look, but for me, I'll take comfort over style.I'm happy with it for these shorter trips. I'll have to wait and see how it feels on a really long bike ride and if it makes a huge difference there, but the initial impression is that it works great for improving comfort.
