Worked fine for about a month, didn't have too many issues except something I think my computer does. But today it decided it was just going to die, no warning and I can't return it because the return window ended a couple of days ago. Last just long enough to screw me out of money. Decent speeds, terrible life span.

Can confirm it works perfectly fine with an AMD 7800X3D CPU. I believe it uses a Realtek wifi card which understandably causes people to hesitate, but rest assured, it runs great.Couple weeks since I first started using this card , finding it was worth every penny. Older PCIe wifi card since the day I bought this PC was iffy at best. Noticed it'd take longer to connect to my home wifi longer than even my old 6 year old desktop's wifi card did and the download/upload speeds would randomly drop to 0. My router is still on Wifi 6, so I wasn't all that interested in upgrading to a Wifi 7 one anytime soon, but bought this on the hope it'd fix my connectivity issues and I'm pleased to report it has.

Make sure you plug this into the right USB port on your motherboard! I had mistakenly used a 2.0 and was getting very sub-par speeds. Swapped to a USB 3.1 and speeds more than doubled. I used my motherboard manual to see which USB ports are what speed, hope this helps someone. It does take a moment to range for my network at startup, but other than that I have no complaints.

I was going to purchase the $45-more-expensive, "most modern", TP-Link Archer TBE400UH.Thankfully, I saved a little bit of money because this MSI USB adapter works flawlessly, and the performance far exceeds my expectations. My PC's distance from our WiFi 7 router is far - several rooms, kitchen, and living room away - and I am consistently getting 400+ Mbps down and 20+ Mbps downloads speeds on my "500/20 Mbps" Spectrum fiber-cable hybrid internet plan (I know, not the best, I am getting area/city gapped).Anyway, with my previous WiFi 5 PCIe adapter, it was impossible to connect to the 6Ghz band, and I was only getting 200/15Mbps speeds, while experiencing frequent lag spikes in competitive online gaming. Now, even being so far away from my router, I am able to use the 6Ghz band, and I am experiencing virtually no lag. I am absolutely satisfied. For those curious, my router is the NETGEAR Nighthawk Tri-Band WiFi 7 Router (RS280S). I know that there is better equipment, but this router + adapter combo is simply more than enough for my personal use, and I was able to completely future proof my network setup for a total of just under $300. Honestly, for my personal needs, it is overkill, but I am very happy about the peace of mind.
