Definitely worth the money. Came very well packaged, all you need to do is charge and put in pool. Robot is wireless and will vacuum the pool until the battery runs out. Goes up the walls and all over the bottom. Once done all you have to do is take it out and clean the basket. Robot is very easy to use and we were surprised at how well it cleaned the pool. Since we got it we have not had to clean the pool at all. Our pool is 41 feet long and at the deep end it is about 8 feet deep. Robot has no problem being able to clean a pool that size. Definitely worth every penny. It would take over an hour to clean the pool. Robot is lite enough that I can carry with out my husband's help. I don't know why we took so long to purchase one.

Worked good 1 couple of cleanings.. Then the battery was having problems connecting to the unit.. light wouldn’t light up and you couldn’t tell if it was on or off… returning after 3wks

Very nice but I think ours was messed up. Cleaned very well but would not stop at the edge of pool. It would stop in the middle of the pool. Also not very happy with Amazon on how long it is taking to get my refund.

This robotic pool vacuum cleaner delivers outstanding performance with smart navigation and ultra cleaning modes. It climbs walls and scrubs waterlines effectively, leaving the pool spotless. The top-load large filter is easy to access and clean, and it’s suitable for above/in-ground pools up to 40 ft. Dual inlets ensure faster debris capture. However, the wired design can be limiting and occasionally tangles, reducing mobility during cleaning sessions.

Super happy with the shipping of the box! Was nervous since it’s large that it would come banged up. The actual cleaner is great quality, heavy, and powerful! Excited to a summer full of a clean pool!

I know this is pricey, but this thing is amazing. We have our regular "creeper" with hose that runs nightly in our pool that gets leaves but not very good at getting sand and fine pebbles. This robotic vacuum gets EVERYTHING. The filter mesh basket is fine enough mesh to get even the little sand grains that the kids drag into the pool. The filter basket cleans very easily with a hose. We have a curved bottom to our pool, and this thing even gets the curves...on the way up to climbing the walls. I must admit I was skeptical that this thing would actually reliably climb walls, but it surely does. It runs for about 3 hours and charging takes at least that long (I have not timed it). This is so good, that I'm considering removing the creeper/hose that annoys us anyway with the hose always in the way of the kids playing. This beast does a better job anyway.

This robot was able to pick up small debris and fine particles without any need for a second run. The waterline cleaning feature was lacking in my previous vacuum, and so it was nice to have this unit do that area without needing to manually brush it myself. Navigation worked well, so if there were obvious trouble spots, it was able to work through those intelligently, although there were times when it may have retraced a few paths a couple of times before moving on to a new area.Managing the settings in the app was easy, and it was great when I was testing out different cleaning programs. The filter had lots of room before I had to empty it. The only limitations I ran into were with placing the unit in pools that were somewhat irregular shaped, which at times threw off its logic for cleaning. All in all, it did a pretty solid job with the basics and kept ongoing maintenance to a minimum.

The Hydro 4 SE provides a decent feature set for the price, giving most pool owners the ability to clean their pool hassle free. I already own a Maytronics Dolphin Nautilus CC Pro vacuum that costs about twice what the Hydro 4 SE costs.First of all, the H4SE offers only Bluetooth connectivity. What this means is that for programming, you have to be fairly close to the vacuum with your device. In comparison, the Nautilus uses Wifi, which means I get data back from the device while it’s cleaning and can stop/restart it while it is in the pool without pulling it out. The H4SE doesn’t have this ability, and would require you to manually remove and restart the process if you wanted to run it multiple times back to back.The H4SE is lighter than the Nautilus, which is welcome. However, it comes at the cost of the unit feeling much more flimsy than my Maytronics unit. This is most noticeable in the filter compartment. How it will hold up over years of use remains to be seen, but it doesn’t feel as premium as the Dolphin. I do like that they went with a white unit, as it makes it easy to spot in the pool.The app that you use to set the cleaning preferences is fairly straightforward. Even though it lacks Wifi connectivity, the App itself offers the ability to choose your cleaning mode of Floor, Wall and even offers cleanings in durations of 1, 2, or even 4 hours. The “Ultra Clean” mode enhances the suction and claims to get even the smallest of debris.And in my initial runs of the H4SE, that appears to be the case. It did an excellent job of filling its filter with debris as small as pollen nodules and small leaves, and even managed to capture a few Sweetgum pods in the bottom mouth of the filter. I did find I filled the filter more running in the Ultra Clean mode, which was welcomed.Overall, for the money, this is a capable pool vac with a good feature set. I do question how durable the unit will be over the long haul, as it does feel more cheaply built than the Dolphin.Pros:Strong vacuum suction
