Although they are advertised as indoor/outdoor, the durometer rating is 84A which means they are most suitable for outdoors. While you can still skate on a wooden rink, they won’t slide as well as a harder wheel and makes freestyle more difficult. But They work excellently on a concrete surface.

Love love love these wheels on multiple surfaces (asphalt, sport court, wood, smooth concrete). Glide but still plenty of grip. Thinking about ordering another set bc I love them so much, tbh.

I finally had an opportunity to give these a thorough vetting on the rink, and they're excellent. I bought them because they're the softest ones I could find, which means they're much grippier and slower than those made from harder urethanes. I'm on the rink to dance, not to race, so that works just fine for me. If you're main concern is speed, you should look for something else. Personally, I like the control these provide - Even skating backwards felt significantly more stable than usual (which surprised me BTW.) I'll have to see how they do in the spring, when condensation forms on the rink and grip really starts to matter. If my opinion changes, I'll update this review. One other note: If you're used to tapping your wheels (lifting and dropping your foot on the rink) for rhythmic effects, you'll be surprised at how quiet these are relative to harder wheels. When I tried it, I could barely hear them over the music. That's not a dealbreaker for me, but it was another very surprising property of these things.

Great set of wheels. Also looks great on black skates.

Great for outdoors or extremely slippery floors.

I started roller derby and got my skates used... the seller sent 4 Poisons with my wheels as a bonus, and since we skate on polished cement, these are perfect. Not as gummy as outdoors, they're solid enough to get a good skid on the plow stops. I love these wheels, and this is a really reasonable price!

Poisons are my favorite derby wheel, by far. They look great with my white Sure-Grip Avenger plates and Vanilla Brass Knuckle Blackout boots. I weigh next to nothing and the grip of these is great for feeling like my feet are planted firmly on the floor. The slim profile of this wheel makes these even more agile than the wide Poisons I've always used in the past. With Atom Omegas (93A) and these slim Poisons in place as pushers, I think I may have found my ideal wheel configuration.

These wheels work so well on the athletic sport court floors of some of the rinks i skate on. As well as the shiny concrete flat tracks. Traction is far better than those hard wheels i used to use. And they don't stop rolling if I hit a piece of grit on the track.
