I love the simplicity of the design on this abacus. The metallic wires the beads are threaded onto give a visual and tactile contrast to the wooden beads. My daughter is getting ready to turn one and she has slowly become more and more interested in this toy. I love that this toy can be part of the decor of the room it's in but also functional at the same time.I do wish the base was thicker and the corners were more rounded. The current corners aren't a problem and it's more of a personal preference.

It is not only pretty but also very well made. Every aspect is perfect and sturdy. It’s great for decor but can also be used for little kids to learn counting. It is lightweight but sturdy. I highly recommend this product!
