White light didn't work on arrival. Blue and red turns on and is very bright, but the white doesn't work, just the blue light illuminates around the switch. Not impressed!

Fantastic and insanely bright dive light! I've had it to 120' with no issues, on 50+ dives. Some of the bad reviews are likely due to using crappy batteries. Do NOT order your batteries from Amazon, as Amazon is rife with fakes. Order from a trusted website that only sells batteries.Always ensure your gaskets are clean before tightening down. This bad boy will overheat if used above water. Don't run it for more than a short burst on land or you're likely to overheat it. On low it's fine for about 5 minutes on land.

Very bright. I've taken this thing down to 120ft without problems. For anyone experiencing problems or contemplating buying this :- Use with button-top cells only ! Flat-top will NOT work ! Make sure they have built in overcurrent, deep discharge protection. Use brand name cells from Sanyo or Panasonic. Or amazon https://www.amazon.com/liogea-Battery-3400mAh-Rechargeable-Batteries/dp/B07YBTQSQL/ref=sr_1_45?keywords=18650+liion&qid=1571775062&sr=8-45- Lubricate the two o-rings and thread. Make sure the battery compartment is screwed tightly into the light head to prevent leaking and ensure good battery contact.- Do NOT use outside of the water. It will overheat and get damaged ! Super bright diving lights always need water cooling.- Double check the battery cavity. the sockets for the batteries can have a metal burr. put your pinky finger in the holes and feel if there are ridges. if there are : use a small jewelers file to remove that. it will damage the sleeve of the cells and they can become stuck.- grease the o-rings ! very imprtant. Make sure they are clean and properly lubricated before closing the light-edit- Back from dive trip. Did about 30 dives with two of these. Deepest point was 120ft ( 40 meters). Both lights worked perfectly.

Great light! It is VERY bright, so do not look directly at it or it can cause permanent eye damage. I bought this as a budget alternative to the BigBlue dive lights. My friend who has one ($300) has buyers remorse after seeing this one in action!A little background: I am a flashlightoholic plain and simple. I have upwards of 30 different led flashlights and there are 2 that I would and do recommend to anyone needing a great flashlight. This is the one I recommend for diving, and the Anker LC90 for on land.I do not have a lux meter, but this is most certainly a beast. Lit up a night dive like it was daylight. Literally 4 other divers I was with shut their lights off because they didn't even show up anymore in this lights presence. The operation is a little odd running through the modes but you get used to it. Button 1(Red flash, red, blue, double click to get fast red flash) Button 2(white high, med., low). You can run multiple lights at the same time, as in white with red(more natural light color), white with blue (ice white, about 7500kelvin), and blue with fast flash red (like police lights). The quirks: DO NOT RUN THIS LIGHT OUT OF WATER FOR MORE THAN A FEW SECONDS! This has an extremely high output and requires cooling in water or it will will develop issues. I just had to re-flow the solder in the LED's because it clicked on in my dive bag and got super hot, causing one chip to have poor contact.Make sure if it is not in use with the batteries installed, unscrew the battery cylinder slightly until it doesn't work. The buttons are easily bumped and it will turn on in a bag or wherever, it will get hot enough to ignite flammables. The thumb screw needs to be lubed with silicone grease or it will corrode from stagnant salt water and freeze in place.BATTERIES: This seems to be a little too common of an issue and cause for other bad reviews. The battery compartment screws in. This makes it impossible to have raised contacts to the batteries, so you will need to have batteries with the positive buttons protruding at least a little beyond the battery's protective heat shrink sleeve. I use the LG HE2 as they have a very high output (required to get full brightness from this beast), have a protruding button, are cheap here or even more so on ebay, and have a good capacity (enough for intermittent day dive use for at least 2-3 1 hour dives, maybe more, but I've never ran it dead under water). One additional thing, this light will run with 1, 2, 3, and 4 batteries. If it is not fully loaded with batteries, all that will happen is runtime will decrease. Brightness will be the same if your battery is high output (25A or higher).Cleaning and care is most important for longevity. I have about 100 dives on mine and it is going strong like the day I bought it. Some anodizing has worn off, but the aluminum is high quality as even on bare metal, there is no corrosion. I do a light coat of silicone grease on both seals after each trip and then rub the housing down with what's left on my fingers.Final notes: This is most definitely a wide beam flood light. Do not expect much penetration in poor visibility water. Get a spot light for that. You may also want a dimmer light for night dives as even on its lowest brightness, it scares a lot of the wildlife back into the rocks/coral. Also, get a good charger for your 18650 batteries. Don't use the dinky "red if its charging, green when done" chargers. Get one like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07428G1G2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_VifRCbAMX005XIt's what I use and it works wonderful and one of the few 1 amp on all 4 bay chargers. In conclusion, get it. This light will give your friends and dive buddies light envy.

Ordered this while I was out of state working. Wanted to use it for my Dive trip Nov23, come back to town its on my desk. Soend $50 on batteries. And it dont work, my min return date was nov 22. Feeling screwed. This happed to others as well. Please contact me and fix this issue or I’m opening a fraud case with Amazon when I get back from this dive trip.Vender refered this to manufacture who then would not stand by it. Look at the other reviews not just this one. This is a scam.

I finally got around to give this light a try and I got a dud. Charged up the batteries put everything together and... nothing happened. Made sure batteries were charged and installed properly but no go. My light is dead. There are no instructions included so no troubleshooting document to refer to. I’ve had it just over a month so the return window is closed and I have a dead light. Buyer beware. Stay away from this light.
