I should have installed a set of these valves/fittings when I installed the electric tankless water heater in the workshop. I didn't so now I'm doing a little retrofitting to fix that oversight.Fit, finish and machining are very good on these. Even comes with a pop-off valve which I don't need right now. All of the valves operate smoothly and work as intended.Not only can you shut the water off to the heater, you can also isolate it from the rest of the system for backflushing the tank. Most people never give a thought to cleaning these but I do. I even clean out my regular water heaters once in a while. Doubles their life.I find these very useful and a very good deal. Easy to recommend.

This is a quality valve kit. All the threads fit good and snugly. The valves opened and closed as they should. This is well made and worked for me very well. Very happy with the results and workmanship of this kit. This kit comes very well packaged with all the pieces in foam, tightly packed.

I got this kit to connect my tankless water heater.It has everything you need for the cold water inlet and the hot water outlet.The instructions are very clear about how to install the pieces, how they work, and even how to drain and flush the water heater through the valves.It looks like the company put a lot of time and effort into the design and workmanship of this product. I definitely recommend it for connecting up a tankless water heater.

If you are installing an instant water heater - these make it super easy to descale your water heater. You turn the valve to shut of the water supply to the water heater - hook up a couple of washer hoses to these valves - and circulate vinegar thru your water heater for 30 minutes - and you are done!. These feel like very well made valves. Very pleased.

This Orbek 3/4” isolation valve kit for tankless water heaters includes a 3/4” full-flow solid brass cold water ball valve with a 1/2” secondary diverter flush valve with cap and seal; a 3/4” full-flow solid brass hot water ball valve with a 1/2” secondary diverter flush valve with cap and seal, plus an additional un-valved t-port for the installation of an included 3/4” pressure relief valve. It should be noted that the inlets for the hot and cold valve are 1” but come with a 3/4“adapter so they can accommodate either inlet size.This three-valve set is solid brass and NSF 372 compliant, which means that it complies with the United States Safe Water Drinking Act (SDWA) for lead-free plumbing requirements. They have a solid hefty feel, and the fit and finish bespeaks good quality. All of the valves operate smoothly and evenly. The included pressure relief valve is set for 150 psi. In my opinion, this set is every bit as nice as the ones that I originally obtained from the Rinnai dealer, but cost considerably less. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. This set is universally applicable and not limited to any particular brand of water heater.Whether you need this isolation valve kit for a new install, repair/replacement, or to have on hand “just in case”, I think that you will be pleased as I was with the quality and value of this Orbek kit.

This review is for the Orbek 3/4 Inch IPS Valve Kit for Isolator Tankless Water Heater. These are very nice valves. Every bit as good as the set that I paid more than double for. They are full port valves and includes a pressure relief valve and the place to connect it to. Very smooth finish and clean threads. The packaging was excellent!

... so I cannot comment on their actual function under "stress" but such things are pretty much standardized at this point in time and after a careful examination, the products display no sloppiness or shortcomings in build quality or apparent function.
