The delivered box showed no signs of damage, yet the water heater was dented in multiple places once the box was removed.Being the condition of the delivered water heater, I ran a pressure test prior to installation which looked good at the time, but the T&P valve had a very slow leak that took days to show itself. I managed to get the T&P sealed up just yesterday with a combination of Teflon tape over pipe dope, and all seems well now.The list price was lower than anywhere I had seen.
