I’ve had cats - kittens all my life and I never invested in the stainless steel kitty litter box. I always put the litter in plastic storage boxes. Boy what a difference!! Lov these stainless steel litter pans. So so so easy to scoop out the litter it doesn’t smell like how the odor would get trapped in the plastic storage bins.. and the mats I love the mats!! Invest in the stainless steel litter pan. You won’t regret it.!!

We got these since we were replacing our old ones every 6-9 months because the plastic would get nasty and hold smells (that's what my wife said, at least). So, when I found these, I figured I would give them a try. While not cheap, they are definitely of a higher quality than what most places sell. The stainless steel is very thick, and even under 20 lbs. of litter, it would not flex/bend. The scoops are very nice with a wooden handle. My gripe on those would be to have a spot to hang it on either side of the box, instead of the front or back on one side only, but it's a very small gripe. The covers snap easily onto the base and keep the cats from flinging the litter out when they either dig or just sit in there and bounce/dive around. I have no idea why they do that, but they do (must be a calico thing). The pads are nice to let the litter fall in, and then you could just dump it back in. However, we aren't using the mats because if a cat throws up on them (it happens), it would be difficult to clean without having to pick it up and put it in the sink. All in all, these litter boxes should hold up until the kids go to college!

This 2 pack of metal cat litter boxes are a little pricey, but when you figure in how long they last, it's worth it! Regular plastic litter boxes wear out after awhile, and if the plastic doesn't break, it develops a smell that no amount of scrubbing gets rid of. These litter boxes are big! My large cats have plenty of room to do their business. It does take a lot of litter to fill it deep enough for their liking, but if you scoop every day, it lasts for quite awhile. The poop and pee clumps don't stick to the metal. Each box has its own scoop with a holder for it. I can't tell you how many times I've sat a scoop down and forgot where I left it! Each box also comes with a stiff mat that keeps your cat from tracking litter on the floor as he gets out. My cats have been using these litter boxes for awhile now. They seem to prefer them over the other plastic choices. Ive also noticed even with scooping every day, the metal boxes don't have an oder like the plastic ones. They really are a good value and I'm slowly converting all my plastic to metal as I get the funds. Who wants a stinky box if there's a better alternative?

These are really high quality litter boxes. Made of easy to clean stainless steel that won't retain odors. We love the tall sides, they really contain the litter well. One of our cats is a big boy and he won't fit in most litter boxes. He fits easily into these XL size litter boxes. Comes with a scoop and scoop holder that attaches to the side of the litter box. You can change the location where the scoop goes according to your personal preference. Also included are litter trapping mats and some stick on non slip pads. You get two of these high quality boxes in the package. I found them to be a good value for the money.

I got this for a kitty who likes to kick his back feet after he does his business, which causes litter to fly out the back of his current box. This has really solved that problem by having the high walls on the side. The mats also does a good job of grabbing any loose litter when he steps out. It isn't 100% effective, but I would say it is a good 90% effective at catching everything and keeping the area around it fairly clean.The top part does not lock in place as in there is a clasp. but it is fairly secure with its weight and gravity to keep it in place. I've watched my little fur baby test out the walls, but so far it has not budged. So I don't have any concerns there.I also like that there is a scoop holder making it easy to store when not using. there are three slots on one side to allow you to move the holder to where you want it, whether at the front, back, or middle of the one side. The scoop has very large slots, so I recommend using clumping litter otherwise you'll need to find a scoop with smaller slots.In terms of price - for the size, I think it is worth it for 2 boxes in comparison to the price of other litter boxes of the same size as well as the time saved from having to clean up loose litter around the box.Overall, great product, no concerns.

Let me start by saying that I have looked at SO many large litter boxes and have been unable to find any that were large enough for my bigger cat, and which also have tall walls that are removable, but not a complete top. These are PERFECT. My big cat is 17 pounds and has plenty of room in there, so if you have a larger cat - even a Maine Coon, this will be perfect. This is the largest stainless steel litter box I've been able to find.Second, I want to say that if you are not already using stainless steel litter boxes, you will be so glad when you switch! I use Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Slide litter in these boxes, and am finding that nothing sticks! Odors don't stick either, like they do to plastic. Not sure if you've noticed, but if you scratch the bottom of a plastic litter pan, that just leaves places for the odors to hide and live. Stainless steel won't scratch, either - so, again - no place for odors to hang out. Cleaning this little box is also much easier! Also, stainless steel will last forever.I am so glad I got these. They are great, and a good value considering they will last forever. The walls fit on perfectly and are easy to remove for cleaning, and overall they are just plain functional - which is really what we all want - something that WORKS!
