These are a good mix of reasonable price and function. I feel like the shoulder pads are a bit on the short side as well as minimally padded, which means they help a little bit with shoulder pain from carrying a heavy bag, but not quite that much.I wish they were slightly longer and also had a thicker and stronger padding. I would be willing to pay slightly more for that kind of product if it existed. I also own Maxpedition shoulder pads and those are very thick and sturdy for those looking for that; however, they are also overly large, kind of aesthetically unpleasing, and much more expensive.This product isn't half bad and I like how low-profile it is at the very least. No strong odor on the product itself (though the bag it came in did). Overall, I would recommend this shoulder pad for those prioritizing budget and looking for something inexpensive.
