Nice bag, I was a little concerned that the lunch pouch would interfere with the laptop pocket, but it doesn't. There is just enough organization in the bag to make it minimalist but really useful. The lunch part does keep things cold enough to be worth using. The handles are a little light in their build, which could be a problem in the future. The fact the bag can stand on its own is really helpful and it is stiff enough to actually work.

I ordered this bag with the intention of taking it with me on airplanes when I fly. My previous bag was such a mess that I dropped and lost my prescription glasses on a plane in Canada. I was drawn in by this bag by the food pocket feature and appreciated that it is made out of faux leather. Unfortunately, as soon as I removed it from the package it arrived in, it gave off a very strong, horrendous odour of chemicals that smell much like fish. I've had it sitting in a corner to air out for a couple of days now, and I can still smell it from across the room. It is a spacious bag with the capacity to hold a lot of items, but there are elements about it that I don't love-- for one, the straps do not seem capable of holding very much weight. Secondly, the main zipper does not glide easily to open and close the biggest compartment. In addition, there exists an unnecessarily long tail to the zipper that extends far past the edge of the bag. It's an okay bag overall, but I will not be using it for its intended purpose. I will instead bring it with me to sneak snacks into the movie theatre using the food storage pocket area.

... and, if like me, you have stuff to bring back and forth to work every day, this will cut down what feels like luggage some days. You do need to pack the lunch box portion carefully, but the tote is sturdy and will keep things level. Not copious room above the lunch box, but enough that you can pack it merrily along. Kudos to whoever thought this up; it's very clever.

This bag is such a great value! It's got everything you need. If you don't want the "lunch pocket" section you can fold it away and have the main bag as a huge compartment. If you DO want the lunch pocket - there is a divider that helps to keep your items separated and organized. I even think the lunch compartment could be used for shoes on an overnight.The material of the bag feels luxurious. Not cheap. It's well stitched. And I love the extra long attachable strap for use as a cross-body bag.I do think it's a little odd to use silver rings and a gold zipper. But I didn't take off a star for that. The quality is still great.It's also nice that you can still fit your laptop in the bag when it's in the "lunch" mode. It's got a secret side pocket.
