This is a very useful pack of carbide inserts intended for woodturning tools. One of the unusual features is the inclusion of replacement bolts. The bolts look fine, threading is clean and the metal feels sturdy. The inserts are nicely machined. The sides are very smooth and finished to a nice smooth grind. The countersunk holes are tight and the edges are consistent. No nicks or problems. I'll have to run these to judge the carbide.

These carbide inserts are sharp and true to size. They have a mirror finish on both the flat side and the angled side of the cutting edge. There are no nicks or defects.The screws use a hex wrench. I would prefer a torx head screw because they are less likely to strip, but I have a torx head screw in the tool so I'm good for now.
