Installed it about 90 day ago and so far so good. I was dubious about using this regulator due to the price. It didn't help that it didn't right out of box it didn't work but that was on me. I didn't have thermocouple tighten enough. Went back through everything and made sure I had everything good and snug, tried it again and it fired up and still working. So...

The packaging was a joke, one knob is missing, the other one lose in the box, and the box itself was destroy, I never like fedex but this one beats all.

UPDATE: I ended up returning it. It would light and heat up well. After the initial heating of the tank. The main burner however never came back on after it brought the water up to temp. I thought initially it might be an air flow issue but i cleaned the area around made sure vents weren't being blocked. Bummer, I really thought it had solved my problem but came with additional ones.like many other reviews, I was a little suspicious regarding the quality of the controller because of packaging. It too, came in a box with it protruding out a corner. However, once installed it worked just fine.Only gripe was that the plastic button and knobs feel a bit cheap. Also, the range displayed on the temp knob was not accurate. I had to increase it to get hot water and if you moved it to the other end where its says warm, it'll shut off. seems like its shifted to one side.fair price. working as intended for now.
