This is what the package looks like. I have no doubt the seeds will produce just fine and they're heirloom seeds, which I like.

Good germination, nice colorful stems. Any Swiss chard I've tried grew fine here, so not surprised, and these were just as good as more expensive seeds I've used. Ended up giving so much to friends and family I'm going to grow at least 3 times as much next summer. Best if they're covered with garden cloth to keep bugs off, in this area anyway. Raw leaves need to be used quickly, but I also cook the leaves and freeze in zip lock bags for a winter and spring supply.

Swiss chard is very versatile, salads, soups, casseroles, hardy plants with great germination. Also works good as a natural soil moisture sensor around my fruit trees. Plants wilt as the root ball is drying out telling me when to water, springs right back up afterwards.

I’m very impressed with the chard seeds and will order them again. I planted the seeds a couple of weeks ago and hopes to have a fall harvest, and the Swiss chard is growing perfectly!

I’m not familiar with Swiss chard at all. In fact, I’ve never even eaten it. But I wanted to try growing some in my salad bowl garden. The germination rate has been very poor, as only the red ones germinate. Of course, there’s no way to tell seeds for red from seeds for yellow, but most of my seeds haven’t sprouted. And the only ones that have are red. Very disappointing about the other varieties. Growth rate has been slow, but germination (for reds) is quick.

Love rainbow Swiss chard, and was so looking forward to this years crop.... sadly I only had 1 seed germinate from this pack and really had only a small amount of harvest to add to pastas and salads. Really disappointed.

I just ordered and planted these recently, so I can't speak to much. I can say, these seeds had a high germination rate. When I plant my greens starters, I put 7-8 seeds per pot, hoping 3-4 will develop... these seeds every pot, nearly every seed germinated (don't have an actual count I put in each pot so I can give an exact germination rate), It was noticeable how many did germinate. If all goes well, I can report on how they grew and how they taste!!At this point I would recommend these.
