This is perfect! It really is leakproof. It's a great solution for tossing a filled tumbler into your bag and keeping the contents inside. Some of those leakproof tops aren't really leakproof. This fit my 40oz tumbler just right.

This replacement lid fits my 40 oz Stanley tumbler well and, once fully tightened, creates a solid seal that prevents leaks. The first time I used it, I didn’t tighten it all the way and it did leak—so be sure to give it a good twist to lock it in securely.I was initially concerned about how wide the lid is and whether I’d be able to grip it well enough to screw it on and off. Fortunately, the raised metal portion of the lid provides a solid spot to anchor your thumb, which gives you better leverage when twisting the larger white base. That small design feature makes a big difference. The construction feels durable: the base is made of plastic with plastic threads, while the silver portion is metal-lined with a rubber gasket and a plastic interior structure. I really like that I can now toss my Stanley in a bag without worrying about spills. It’s easy to clean, and I was impressed that it came with clear, thoughtful instructions—including temperature guidelines (don’t use liquids hotter than 158°F). That kind of care in packaging was a nice surprise. The white color looks great with my light-colored Stanley tumbler. The plastic portion is quiet when you twist it on, although the metal lid can make a slight squeaking sound. Because the mouth opening is wide, this lid isn’t really straw-compatible if you’re on the go—it doesn’t seal around a straw, so it won’t be leakproof if you add one. That said, you can use a straw if you’re just sipping and not tipping or carrying it around.Overall, this is a good value and a great replacement lid—functional, easy to clean, and thoughtfully designed.

This leak-proof lid for the Stanley 40-ounce tumbler is an excellent addition. It fits perfectly on my thermos and seals very well, preventing any spills. The wide mouth is practical and makes everyday use easier. The quality of the material is remarkable and seems very durable. I am very satisfied with this purchase and definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a reliable replacement lid. It's just the lid, but it does exactly what it promises.

I didn’t like the exposed straw and the lid that came with the cup. When I saw this cover, I was excited to have alternatives. This twists onto the 40oz cup perfectly. The mouth opening is wide enough and another cover to keep the drinking spout clean. Easy to wash and looks nice. No leakage so that’s a plus.

The good:1: It fit my tumbler, and is leak proof. The bad:1: Doesn't hold temperature well. The top started to sweat when I had cold drinks in, meaning it compromised the functionality of the tumbler.2: You need to position it a certain way to make it rotate properly, otherwise it can end up on the wrong side.3: Slippery round surfaces with nothing to help open or close the top. Opening the top becomes a task in itself.

I like my Stanley. However, I am not a fan of straws. Using the small "straw alternative" opening in the standard lid is annoying. This is MUCH better! I feel like I can actually drink my water instead of having to sip it. While I like my Stanley, I avoided using it because it became more of an obligation to use it than being practical. The only thing that could make this better is if the twist off lid stayed attached when unscrewing. Other than that though, it works great and doesn't spill. Game changer!!!

Good concept. I ordered this to try on a few of my cups, but it’s hard to know exactly what it will fit on. So I haven’t had much luck with it. But there’s nothing else bad about it. Just need a frame of reference.
