Function：
Heater hoses are used to transfer the excess heat, in the form of engine coolant, from the engine into the heater core. Once the heated engine coolant reaches the heater core, it travels through small tubes inside the heater core.

2009 GMC Acadia 3.6 engine. Best replacement for the buck. The factory ones failed around 180K. Big mess and hassle. Had to have the car towed to the house. Bummer !!Replace them early (150K or so.)or you will not be a happy camper. Car has 230K now and no issues with theses at all.One T is metal and other one is plastic!Why not both metal??
