flimsy instructions, but they do work. the nuts and bolts didn't come with a wrench, luckily i had one that fit both sizes needed. the boards are a little damaged, so either they are used or there are factory oversights in machining. also, the predrilled holes need cleaning out for the bolts to fit, more time and energy there. overall, this took me over an hour to assemble and that's crazy considering how few pieces there are. there is no real guide to orientation of the nuts and bolts, so figuring out which way they will be seen and which way a drill or screwdriver can fit was half the battle. well, a good third of the battle. there are obvious nail marks on the tops of the boards where we sit, and even though its weatherproof, some splits in the wood and where the bolts were tightened and cracked the wood a bit, worries me for the longevity of this piece. cute, i guess. small, but cute. could have gotten more stars if this was more user friendly to assemble

This is a very nice bench with a clever design. It’s made to butt up against a tree and will add a nice design feature for your yard. It’s a good size for two people and is fairly easy to assemble. It feels to be stable and sturdy.

This was ordered to replace a dollar-store-quality outdoor table on bedroom deck. First, it is stunning. Second, it is heavy and solid. Third, assembling it was easy. It is THE best new addition to my living space and I am happy to have it. I will come back to show pictures as the cold and extremely windy, New England prevents us from truly enjoying it. Currently stored away, does it no justice. I cannot wait for better weather to enjoy my coffee out there on this magnificent table. This would make a beautiful gift for a yard or deck. I will have my semicircle table surrounding a realistic artificial tree. I could attest that this tree-seat would add an upscale look to anywhere you choose. It would add a great new ‘lift’ to any home of any decor. It is a gorgeous, high-quality piece. It looks like an old-world beauty passed down in pristine condition. It is soundly preserved genuine wood. Made with precision craftsmanship, it is level and stable. It is timeless with its carbonized look from being treated to be waterproof and avoid rot or corrosion. While higher in price than may not fully be understood, it’s price is lower than what any craftsman would charge me by experience. It looks like a neighboring tree was cut to detail, in finest craftsmanship, showing the tree’s beautiful grain and knots. With this ‘gem’ I can bring the outdoors’ magic closer to my living space—but without bugs or little creatures.I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend!

This bench comes with the top fully assembled and all you have to do is put the legs and braces on. It took me 10 minutes to do so. A couple of the braces were split and a couple of the bench slats were not attached. You can see where the nail gun was used but unfortunately they had run out of nails and didn't notice. The instructions are not correct for how the front braces should go. Don't overlap them as it shows, place one in the front and one in the back. See my photo for how they should be.This bench is actually pretty sturdy once you tighten everything up. I have my doubts about it lasting very long out in the weather and I would plan on treating it often if it's fully exposed. To be fair I do like the way this looks and if it lasts a couple of years I'll be pretty happy. I deducted two stars due to it's high price. There is no way this is worth 170 dollars. A better price point for this would be around 75.

This wrap around tree bench is really cute. It was easy to assemble and made with great quality wood. I’m concerned about the glue that’s everywhere all over it. It’s a thick white glue that doesn’t look water resistant for this to be a piece to go in the garden or under my tree the glue needs to uphold to moist rainy conditions. Not confident that it will. I’m not putting in the garden until spring so we will see how it holds up.

This is an attractive bench but I doubt it'll last very long in the crazy weather we have here in Texas. It certainly wasn't worth the price! I was also disappointed that it took more time than I wanted to spend to put it together.
