I was super excited for this skirt and to use it for the summer. It's so cute with the flair and the ruffles and is the perfect length without being too short. However, I am actually super disappointed in the color. The pictures make it look like a beautiful soft yellow, but when I got it in person it's actually a much more dark and lemon-y yellow. While it could still be a pretty color on someone else - it just does not compliment my skin tone at all. It's a really bright margarine color - almost like that yellow sunshine color of the crayon crayons and I actually hate it. Everything else is perfect but I just can't get over how ugly the color is and how it makes me look like a walking banana.

I ordered a Medium in this skirt based on the size chart since my waist is 27” — normally, I wear a Small, so this definitely runs a bit small if you grab your usual size. I’m glad I sized up, following the chart! The skirt is super cute and playful with really nice quality fabric. I paired it with a bodysuit and loved how snatched my waist looked. Honestly, I want this in more colors because it’s the first skirt I’ve worn in years — usually, I’m all about dresses!

This is very cute! It's really fun to wear with the ruffles. The material is a flat black with no sheen, which is what I wanted.I ordered Large (usual size). It fits and looks nice but couldn't be much smaller in the hips. The waist has a lot of stretch. I measured the middle of the waist band while laying flat and it's about 29.5" flat and stretches to about 41". The hip area (just above first ruffle) is around 45-46", and then flows out from there. The liner inside has a little bit of stretch, too.Great length when standing, but shows everything if bending the slightest. Has a built-in slip, but it really needs the built-in shorts.The top fabric is light and sheer. The slip is thicker and more silky, more comfortable on the skin. The liner makes a bit of a rustling sound when it moves against the top.

The bouncy ruffles, mini length and cheery yellow color make this adorable - will be great with a fitted top that covers the elastic waist. I ordered the wrong size because I went by the waist measurement. Since this is an elastic waist, it stretches so just order your regular size and ignore that size chart! it would be really nice if it were a skort with built-in matching shorts, but it is not; this is a skirt and you should wear shorts underneath due to the length. The material reminds me of a parachute.

Super cute skirt made out of light chiffon fabric. It’s lined so it’s not see through. I sized up so that it’s a bit longer and it fits nice, but it’s true to size.

I do not like how this skirts material feels. It is like bathing suit material with no stretch. The is also a slight sheer to the skirt. I can just make out the parts the are touching skin vs more loosely hanging because my skin tone shows slightly through. I am a very pasty lady. I tried to take a picture but the flash makes the skirt show bright white and hides all of the sheerness unlike how the normal lighting of my room makes it look. I bought a size M because when it comes to bottoms I hover between m and l depending on if it's high waisted or not as I am curvy. This skirt does not have a lot of flare to it so if you're curvy too then size up even though it's high waisted. There are also a few wayward threads along the seams.

I got this little black skirt for my 16 year old daughter. It is cute. It has a lot of flounce to it. I do wish that there was like a little short attached underneath, but she can just add a pair of black boyshorts.
