I recently replaced our LG washing machine's water inlet and dispenser valve with this OEM authorized part, and it's been a total lifesaver. Our machine is about 12 years old and started having issues where the water would just keep running mid-wash. Swapping out the old valve with this new one was a breeze – it was super quick to install and fit perfectly.

We were having issues with our water cycling and draining to fast overflowing the drainpipe. I ordered the part and installed it by myself (I'm a handy woman) and it took about 15 to 20 minutes. No problems after only two washes, but it looks like a new part was all that was needed! YAY!

This installation went EXACTLY like the video depicted. Be sure to code the hoses to the correct valve as it is possible but not likely to connect hose to wrong valve. This repair took 15-20 minutes, and I had never been inside this washer before.

My WM2688HWMA LG washer was running water constantly mid-way through the cycle. It stopped at 7 minutes just before the final rinse and spin would start and would just stick there with the rinse water running. No code showing on the LCD screen. I was thinking it was time to replace this 11 year old washer. But I did some google searching and found that this part and/or LG part # 5220FR2006H may be the likely culprits. Youtube had great install videos, which made the fix look pretty simple. Well, I got the parts, changed them both out in about 20 minutes, and now the washing works like new!!! Just remember to spray the hose ends with a little silicone before you put them back on and clamp them. It will make the placement of the hoses very simple. This is not a genuine LG factory part, but a clone. Having said that, it seems to be working flawlessly.

Needed a replacement and after finding the instructions on YouTube was able to replace unit within 15 minutes. Works great with no troubles so far.
