Flexible AC/DC Power
The FJ400 II features a flexible AC/DC battery system, providing 550+ full-power flashes per charge with the included FJ Pro Battery—or 1,000+ flashes with the optional FJ ProMax Battery. The batteries are also compatible with the FJ800 and offer AC trickle-charge, eliminating the need for multiple power solutions.
Consistent Color Temperature
The FJ400 II maintains a color temperature stability of 5500K (±150K) throughout its entire 9-stop output range, with flash increments of either 0.1 or 1.0 stops. It features a 30W bi-color LED modeling light, adjustable from 2700K to 6500K, with auto-adjust and independent output control.
Color OLED Touchscreen
The full-color OLED touchscreen interface is designed for simplicity and speed, with intuitive gestures like tap, swipe, and slide for quick adjustments. Built-in help guides provide on-screen support, saving time and keeping you focused on creating.

Optimized for Light Modifiers
The flash’s round head and extended flash tube deliver a wide, even light spread to fill modifiers beautifully. Its Bowens mount and Rapid Box Switch Insert ensure seamless compatibility with Westcott’s extensive line of portable light modifiers. The tilter bracket also has a 9mm mount for large umbrellas.
Seamless Integration with the FJ Wireless System
The FJ400 II pairs seamlessly with all flashes and triggers in Westcott’s 2.4 GHz FJ Wireless System. Control your setup with an FJ-X Trigger or FJ80 Speedlight, both compatible with major camera brands.
