This was cheaper than most sets but it works great. I’m anchoring it on a power tower and have effectively turned it into a low cost cable machine as well. All parts are solid, I’ve used it with 75lb in plates with no issues.

This is exactly the type of pulley system I’ve been looking for! I had previously gotten some loose pulleys and a bunch of cable with the hopes of setting up a lat pull-down bar and weights, but I didn’t have any hardware for connecting it all up, so there it all sits, unusable! Good intention, poor implementation!What I actually needed was this type of pulley that has a hook attached to it. It was so simple to wrap the strap across the top bar of my gym tower and use the provided carabiner to connect the strap to the pulley’s hook. The hook swivels, so the pulley has the ability to swing around in any direction, depending on the exercise I’m doing.The set comes with two lengths of cable, so I chose the smaller one. The small end easily threaded through the pulley and I connected it to the weight plate stacker with a second carabiner. The stacker central bar can accommodate 1” center hole plates, and a sleeve can be placed over it to accommodate 2” center hole plates. The spring-clip secures the weights in place.Then, with the third carabiner, I have my choice of connecting the ball end of the cable to the straight bar or the rope. The straight bar has nice foam handholds that have a good grip surface even when my hands are sweaty. I’ve never had a rope like this before, so that’s what I attached to try it out. It’s a super thick, quality rope with round end pieces that give my hands a good place to pull against. I love the rope!This whole set seems so complete. All I needed was a bar to hook it to and I was able to quickly and easily set up my own cable/pulley rig. I had two cables to choose from and two pull implements to choose from. Everything is well-made and good quality. This set is fun to use and will last me a long time!

Overall this is a very nice cable set. I ordered a 1000lb rated spinning punching bag hook attached to a beam and it made this very stable and useable since I dont have a rack.All of the equipment is really nice and high quality except the straight bar. It is pretty cheesy and not a good option. If it is your only one it will do ok for you until you can upgrade to a nicer one.The pulleys work great, no hang ups, squeaks etc. Overall this is a great set for someone that can't afford or fit a full sized cable machine at home.

I rated this a 3, for one it has a good amount of equipment for the price. Everything was as shown in the picture. The carabiner clips are a good amount. But very tight. Therefore it is a struggle at times to remove and add new workout equipment. However, I used them in my work outs and I would say, I had a great work out. Secure

everything you need to have a weighted cable system. you can use standard 1" or 2" olympic weights. the pulley has a swivel top. I liked this so much I bought another to make a dual system to do cable crossovers and double bicep curls.
