What I’ve found helpful about this tool is that it not only pulls weeds but also helps loosen the surrounding soil, which is a bonus for prepping planting areas. The four-tooth head fits well under most small to medium-sized weeds. I’ve mainly used it in garden beds and some parts of my lawn, and it’s done a decent job handling weeds without tearing up too much of the surrounding area. The handle is a comfortable length, and the grip feels natural. Inserting the four claws into the soil and prying up the weed is pretty straightforward. It seems to work best when the soil isn’t too dry, as that helps the claws get a better hold around the roots.
