Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this bulb! My old one has been burnt out for some time now. I saw this one was LED I was so excited to get one. Once I installed it I was glad that I chose this particular bulb. It’s really bright inside of my dryer.

I ordered this as a replacement for my old Whirlpool Duet Dryer light bulb. It fits perfectly and it is an LED bulb. It works and it gives off a good amount of light, though I am not sure that it is the same as a 40W bulb would be. Installation was easy on my dryer, just remove a screw from inside the drum and then a plastic shield.These were boxed individually and all four boxes were inside a small zipper bag. While the packaging was minimal for the required protection, getting a bulb out was more difficult than installing it.These bulbs do the job and they should save some electricity if you forget to close the dryer door. I am unsure of the longevity due to heat exposure, but I am giving them the benefit of the doubt as they are dryer rated. I am rating these dryer light bulbs four stars as they work in my old dryer and save some money... and they will hopefully last longer. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...
