These easy-to-peel numbers are just what I was looking for. My old mailbox numbers were looking faded and weathered, so I was looking for something to replace them. These numbers are just what I was looking for. The numbers themselves are easy to remove from the backing, and when you peel it off you just get the number -- there is no square with the black number printed on it (which is what I had before). These letters are easy to place and adhere well to the surface. I like that they stand out and are easy to read.

Most residential mailboxes are black, just like mine. These numbers are just black numbers. They don't come with a white square or rectangular background. I did not pay close attention to this detail before. Now I cannot use them on my black mailbox. They are still good on other white or light color surfaces. Just pay attention.
