I had to get this when I saw it since I’ve been hot at night and waking up uncomfortable. I wasn’t sure how well it would actually work, but I’m glad I gave it a try—it really does help. The cooling effect is noticeable as soon as you lie down, and it helps keep me from overheating while I sleep.Setup was a breeze. It stretched right over my king mattress, and the deep pockets and wide elastic band hold it in place perfectly. No sliding around, even though I tend to toss and turn.Performance-wise, it’s better than I expected. It adds a soft layer without changing the feel of the mattress too much. I also like that it’s waterproof but doesn’t make any of that loud plastic noise. I spilled a little water one night and nothing went through—just wiped it up and it was good as new.The material feels well-made and it looks like it’ll hold up. This arrived vacuumed packed and once opened, it was very cool to the touch. This was a surprise since it was a very hot day here in the desert at 105 degrees. The top layer is a smooth silky stretchy fabric with padding inside. As I ran my hand across the top of the pad, I knew I found something special in this product.I am not sure what technique is used to accomplish this cooling effect, but it worked for me. I have a deep queen mattress (18”) and it was able to comfortably fit around it.For what it provided me with as a cooling mattress topper, I am happy with it and recommend it.I received this on the Amazon Vine program and believe in sharing my truth at all times and give my honest opinion. I purchase things on Amazon and rely heavily on reviews myself too.
