My washer is running like new again. This was not difficult to install & I have not had any problems since the pump was replaced. My washer will run another 5 years. 😊

Water pump on my GE front loading washer died. Matched up the correct part number from manual and ordered this one. Got on you tube and found install instructions. 3 Philips screws taking off the bottom panel. 2 philips screws holding down the pump with a pair of hoses only needing a pair of pliers to remove those. Repair man said it would cost around $500 to come over and replace with part. I spent $69 and did it myself. Washer is working just great now. Only thing to remember is to drain the water out of the filter on the pump. And that water smells pretty bad! LOL. I had the same experience with my fridge having the cooling fan fail, and for $20 I replaced that. Thank you Amazon.com!!!!

The 2006 GE washer we have was stopping in the middle of the cycle sometimes. I figured out it was the pump by tapping the pump with a hammer and it would start pumping and the machine would finish the cycle. So it was an intermittent failure. The wife was getting tired of having to use the hammer and I thought we were going to have to buy a whole new washer and dryer set. The prospect of hauling 2 machines up from the basement and bringing 2 new machines down was not inviting, not to mention the cost. I thought a replacement pump would cost over $200.00. I was pleasantly surprised to find this unit on Amazon and even more pleased that it was easy to install and have it work. The old machine still cleans clothes really well so this is a win!

J’ai une laveuse à linge frontale, GE modèle GCVH6260FWW année 2005, la pompe commandée n’est pas identique à l’originale, mais la fixation des vis est au même endroit. Installée depuis le 15 septembre 2022, ma laveuse fonctionne très bien.

I opened my front loader to be overwhelmed by rushing water out the door one morning :(. After problem solving (cleaning all lines and the coin catcher) and watching you tube, I figured I could not go wrong by trying this pump before buying a new machine. It fixed my machine, its now draining again as expected. It was a simple fix and took less than 10 minutes! 2 screws, 1 black plug and 1 white plug. I spent more time taking off all the tubing to make sure there were no obstructions than installing the new pump. Take a picture before you disassemble to get the color of the wires in the right place. So far we're 2 weeks in and I'm happy, the washer is working great and my clothes are being spun to a dryer state. Will update if an issue arises....

Replaced old pump with this to a oid buying new washer. Not OEM but a perfect fit and works great. Good value. Fairly easy to replace.
